I’ve lived here for 2 years and have been really happy with the apartment and community. Stephanie in the office has been incredible she’s always kind, helpful, and works hard to get any issues resolved quickly. Maintenance has also been great and very efficient. Really appreciate the team here.

I love this place! The maintenance guys, Tony and Elvis, are very friendly, but most importantly EFFICIENT!! They take care of any request I put in super fast and the neighborhood is always super clean!! The office ladies are also awesome! Jessica and Stephanie always remember my name and ask about my puppies, by name. It’s so nice to feel valued as a resident ❤️ 10/10 would recommend 😁😁

I visited Athens in Sept of 2018 in search of apt options. Then called, Timothy Wood Apts. I loved everything & I moved in Nov. 2018. My first 6 mos I was very pleased, safe, secure and felt right at home. It was a perfect 2bd 2ba for me and guest that I named my Pamper Palace. I had no plans of moving out no sooner than 3 years. With rent at the time $950 after 10mos increased to 1049 under new owners ECI. So I decorated and made my self at home. (Below I share pics) With new management I got the crushing news that renovations are going to be taken place and at my 3rd lease there will be a non- lease renewal with the option of choosing another newly nicely renovated apt with a rent increase of $306. My transition from IL to here was smooth Thanx to the old office staff who were above helpful, thoughtful and understanding. This transition from one apt to another has been more hurtful and stressful than the loss of my husband. Not to mention costly. With No options at all for the inconvenience of being forced to move during a pandemic. For example: Because my lease ends in the middle of the month instead of the first of the month, it makes you pay rent for two locations, so I asked if they would allow me to break the lease one week early. Nope only if I was staying in their complex. There were No incentives offered for being a current resident. I considered down sizing to cut the cost on rent until I purchased, but the rent for a one bedroom is saving you so little you may as well rent the 2bd 2ba. Because I would pay that extra on a storage . Needless to say on a positive note I am staying because Its cost me way less to move in one of these than out. I have had a pleasant positive no complaints stay in The Columns at Timothy Wood. The new staff are very business professional. My personal encounter with each one has been pleasant, pleasing, helpful and friendly except for with one. But everyone isn’t a people person & because I don’t expect every person I meet to smile, greet & be nice or sweet, I won’t mention any names. If you want a nice newly renovated, gated, quiet, clean, VERY safe, friendly, apt located on the best side of Athens near everything in walking steps from you. I highly suggest Timothy.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Stephanie. Even the cleaning lady was super sweet and corteous. They went above and beyond to make me feel personal and unique. The Twenty35 apartments are truly beautiful and offer a moderate level of luxury that is well worth the price. While ultimately the cost is outside my current budget, this is definitely my #1 choice, and Stephanie's exceptional service played a huge role in that. Highly recommend connecting with them if you're considering this community!

These apartments are the best! They take care of all our needs and more! The staff is super friendly and the maintenance techs are so helpful! I am also a mom and I love knowing that my child is in a safe neighborhood. Special shout out to Stephanie the manager you can tell she knows how to run the ship!

After living here for a few months, I can honestly say we have really enjoyed it. Our apartment looks exactly like the photos, and the location is great. You are right up against the woods, so it feels quiet, but stores are just a couple of minutes away. Everyone at the office has been very kind and accommodating. Maintenance was very fast and effective the few times we have needed to call them. For students, the bus stop is less than a 10 minute walk to get to the UGA campus via Athens Transit route 20.

I have lived at Twenty35 for 6 months now and have enjoyed it. My boyfriend has been here 2+ years, first in a 1br/1ba and now a 3br/2ba. I can tell the apartments have "old bones" but the new finishes are nice and the size of the rooms meet our needs. It is quiet, peaceful, and safe. I feel comfortable going on walks alone even at night. All the staff I have interacted with, from the front office to the maintenance staff, have been lovely. Any maintenance issues we have had have been taken care of quickly. The facilities, like the pool and gym are always in good condition. I would recommend it to anyone!

I have just signed my 3rd lease here. It is safe, quiet and a perfect location! Any maintenance issues are taken care of within 24 hours - usually within just a few hours. The staff here are professional and kind. The grounds are kept clean and neat also.

What can I really say about this place? Any suggestions? Just kidding. Really, this place is awesome! I would totally recommend this apartment complex as a place to make your new home. Not only are the apartments nice, but it is quiet, clean, and the neighbors are friendly. The landscape is pretty spiffy since they changed it up. They did a really good job. Very pleasing to the eye! There is good and bad no matter where you live, but I haven't found the bad yet. The office staff is awesome, especially a young lady named Jessica Burns! She is very knowledgeable, helpful, sweet, and most of all she is very professional. Jessica was sure to point out the amenities on the property as well as local places to grab a bite to eat for my family as well as provided us with drinks and snacks when we came for a tour. Oh by the way, they have a bark park! If you haven't found a place to call home then give them a call and take a tour.

Overall I'm very happy living at Twenty 35 at Timothy Woods (formerly The Columns) but like anyplace, there are some things that are great and some things that need improvement so I wanted to write a balanced review. First, the location can't be beat! The grounds are quite pretty and well maintained, especially if you're lucky enough to get a building/balcony facing the woods. Lots of birds and nature. The pool is nice and well maintained. If you have a maintenance issue it is taken care of quickly. The office staff is professional and attentive. That's the good, and there is a lot of it! Now the not so great stuff. There is a huge cockroach problem. I have submitted maintenance requests several times and we pay a pest fee but they say they spray and it does nothing. One of the elliptical machines in the gym has been broken for months. The gates are broken /propped open regularly. Maybe this is normal for apartment gates? Seems like often. Bathtubs are old cast iron and have been coated in a treatment that is discolored and peeling off and looks terrible. Not acceptable for the high rent being charged and considering you use the tub/shower daily. Fire alarms are not well maintained and have accidently gone off in the middle of the night twice. Not fun. Fireman said the alarm was not properly secured to the wall so that's a maintenance issue. We got a "present" right before Christmas that the complex was sold to new owners who of course live out of state. The new management has made many improvements to the property but rent increased. The apartments are nice but are insanely overpriced but I guess that's the market we're in.
