My husband and I went to Cyrano. Cyrano is my all time favorite so I went in cautiously optimistic about the 1920 backdrop. Pleasantly, it did not take away from the original story at all. This play was very well produced and the acting was amazing. This was the first play we've seen at Town and Gown Players and it was very impressive. I'm looking forward to coming back for another show!! Excellent job to all involved!!

The productions at this theater are of very high quality, especially for a community theater. The level of talent is very high. Whether musicals, comedies, or dramas, the productions are top quality. And, it is quite a bargain with tickets at only $20, or $5 for second stage productions. I have never seen a bad show there.

Tucked away off the main drag, this intimate space hosts a constantly-evolving company of local and student talent mounting a varied slate both contemporary and classic. The Players’ love and enthusiasm for their craft is infectious and to experience what they can do with and on that stage is to witness the magic of theatre. And you know this praise is legit because these are the same people who have refused to mount my gender-bent musical adaptation of Die Hard for the past six holiday seasons.

I saw 4 of the 7 performances of Into the Woods in April/May of 2022, and I cannot put into words what these experiences meant to me. After several years of uncertainty and feeling disconnected from the world, transporting myself for 2 hours and 45 minutes at a time into another world was transcendent. The shows were surreal. Every performer was perfectly suited for their roles. Watching the original Broadway cast is hard now because of how wonderful this show was. If you ever have the chance to see a show at this theater, do it. Community theaters are superior because everyone spends hundreds of hours preparing. Thank you, T&G.

An incredible community theater with dedication to the art form. The volunteer staff, company, musicians, and other contributors put their hearts into each show. They welcome involvement by any lover of theater. I'm very glad to have found this community and theater.

Excellent community theater group! The production quality is amazing. Just try not to end up seated next to someone who groans loudly, and elbows people who are trying to enjoy a performance... But! I will not let one bad apple spoil the bunch. Come support our local theater group!

Excellent community theater. If you're looking to act, newcomers and veterans are both welcomed and there's always a chance to work backstage if you so choose. Great, varied slate of plays and musicals led by an all-volunteer board, directors, crew, and actors.

Always a enjoyable experience to be had! Remarkable production on a shoestring that doesn’t distract at all from the plays. I really enjoy the car scenes! I hope they bring back The Rocky Horror play.
