I came upon these reviews by accident, as I pulled up the phone number to change an appointment and I am quite taken aback by the previous persons review. This is not at all the Dr. Tom Davis that I know. My entire family has used Dr. Davis for approximately 16 years. I have children ranging in ages from 14-32, who have all seen Dr. Davis at one time or another. Two of my children are currently in therapy with him. Dr. Davis has helped me get through some of the worst times in my life. Collectively, we have seen Dr. Davis for depression, bipolar disorder, infidelity, individual and couples marriage therapy, sexual addiction, stress and coping techniques, drug/alcohol addiction, unruley children, add, ADHD, autism and most recently OCD. Dr. Davis has always been helpful, professional and courteous. I don't know what I would have done without his advice at different times in my life. Dr. Davis has driven a Mazda Miata for almost as long as I have known him. I hardly call that a "tricked out sports car"! If you are fortunate enough to contact Dr. Davis at a time that he has an opening, you will certainly have the same positive experience my family has enjoyed throughout the years. If you want a therapist who will simply tell you what you want to hear, Dr. Davis is not your man and therapy might not be a good fit for you.

My ex husband and I went to some sessions together. Dr. Davis was so fixated on my then husband's substance abuse that he completely missed the fact that he is a psychopath. He literally tried to murder me when I filed for divorce by loosening the lug nuts on my SUVs tire. I remember feeling helpless and completely manipulated during our sessions. Obviously it isn't Dr. Davis' fault however he certainly did nothing to help.
