Transitioning back as a renter after homeownership and adjusting my hometown after 21 years. The apartment was difficult but different experience NOW with new management and maintenance. The two Jeremys are awesome. Extremely attentive with everything from finally accepting my emotional support animal letter from the summer and raking the glass from previous broken window prior to my October 2023 move in. All legal liabilities that this complex are responsible to their tenants. I love this new environment at this historic gem on Loop 10. Also walking distance from Bishop Park and local dog park at VFW. The sunsets are beautiful here!

I have been trying to get in contact with them for the past 3 weeks because I moved out, but I’m still getting charged for the month that I no longer live there I did everything I was supposed to do per the contract And yet they’re trying to charge me when I no longer live there and I have all the receipts, but they will not answer not one call. I have done over 100 phone calls and I have not received one.

This place do not deserve even 1 star, These buildings allow anyone to rent. They're people who disrupt the public by playing loud music every weekend, even some weekdays. Some of us have babies, and some of us work very early in the morning. These types of acts should be penalized and considered for eviction. Management simply doesn't care, and that's the truth. DO NOT APPLY, DO NOT RENT HERE, IT'S A COMPLETE LIE!

I am a resident at The Woods at Normaltown. The recent management change has been the best thing that ever happen, the new staff address work orders in a timely fashion, and they are so supportive, empathetic and patient. I have enjoyed living here, it’s peaceful and quiet and most importantly I feel safe. If you have any issues within the apartment maintenance always delivers great service. O encourage anyone looking to move to Athens, this community is great and the area is do cute.

They don’t even deserve the one star . . This company lost my money order TWICE . The first time going to court I was told “ since you don’t have evidence you can’t prove you’ve paid” cool sat back and paid it all over again . Just for six months later when I finally have a zero balance, for them to say “they lost ONE of my money orders “ but meanwhile still had the 265 money order but couldn’t find my 1000$ one SIX MONTHS LATER . . So I started recording Ana cause atp y’all just stealing my money !! Even have her on recording stating that my money was in the system and six months later it’s no where to be found and she feels it’s stupid this keeps happing ( have it on recording!) .the week I told Ana I have her on recording EVERYTIME I came in to talk to her she quit her job that week. For these new ppl to come in and not even try to look into the problem . Went to court with all my evidence all my payments just for them to tell me they don’t wanna look at it !!! I don’t want anything back just my zero balance as it should be

Ana in the office is so very nice. She made the move in a very smooth process. 1. There is a roach problem. I’ve had to bomb my apartment twice in order to make sure me and son can enter our kitchen without seeing the pest. I’m using my own pest control services to get rid of the problem. 2. My refrigerator was leaking. Ana made sure to take care of this and order me a brand new one so again she is amazing. 3. There was no real cleanup before I moved in. I spent some time removing food from the cabinets and cleaning up after the last residents. So that was irritating. I understand this neighborhood is under new management and going through a transition, so everything is not perfect. Patience and understanding are best.

Are you looking for a place where management changes more often than your air filter? Do you like watching garbage pile up, because of unpaid bills by the owners? How about 8” tall grass, because of drama between - yet another change in management - and the lawn crew? Do you love the sound of roaches crawling in your kitchen the morning? Do you want your personal contact information accidentally shared with everyone who lives here, because they want to send another random and ineffective email, and don’t know scrub the email addresses? If poor record keeping, random bogus charges, and a towel lack of accountability sound great - The Woods at Nornaltown might be the perfect place for you! The northbound is great. The people who live here are wonderful. The managers don’t stay long enough to get a sense of whether they’re any good or not. What we know for sure: The people who own the place are unresponsive, unprofessional, negligent, absentee, and downright pitiful.

Avoid living here at all costs, this apartment complex has cause my family and I nothing but trouble, and instead of helping fix the numerous issues that have occurred, they make it nearly impossible to get any help for their faulty units. They will fail to tell you this apartment complex is used for drug rehabilitation housing which would have been lovely to know having a newborn baby. They never answer their office phone, nor return your calls. They charge you monthly for pest control and I have never received any form of pest control. During the coldest days of the winter they left us with no heat for 2 weeks causing us to have to stay in a hotel and had to contact code enforcement to ever get it fixed. Today they turned my water off to work outside and when they left they proceeded to lie to my face saying they turned it back on while it was in fact still off. They left me with a newborn baby and absolutely no water all day long and my father had to get on his hands and knees outside to turn the water back on himself. Ana asked me to remove the last review I left, which I did out of the kindness of my heart, but as they continue to neglect us, I think it’s in everyone’s best interest I say you stay far far away from this apartment complex. I pray the owners see the reviews, if so, please feel free to contact me because I can never reach anyone but Ana, the one person that has made living here miserable.

Ms. Ana the office personnel is such a delight and is always helpful and kind which is important. If you have any issues within the apartment maintenance always delivers great service. Once my lease is up I’m planning to rent a two bedroom.
