Attended adult Contemporary and a adult jazz classes. Teachers are awesome, kind, experienced and fun. I was welcomed warmly. The Studio is a good space,has nice size dance rooms. and is very clean. Enjoyed the challenge of the classes and will definitely be going back for summer classes.

This is a really wonderful place. The space is beautiful and comfortable. As a fairly inexperienced dancer, I have felt welcome and supported, and also challenged to grow and learn. My 11 year old also attended musical theater summer camp and had a blast! The team at the The Studio Athens has really succeeded in creating a space for everyone who wants to dance.
Getting Real Counseling Center
The Studio is AWESOME! It's a beautiful space that welcomes adult dancers of all ages, sizes, and abilities. The emphasis is on having fun and trying new things and is very warm and supportive. There is no sense of competitiveness or judgmentalness that sometimes happens in dance studios. The instructors are knowledgeable and kind and come up with fun routines. I recommend it highly!

I went to the West Coast Swing class for adults with my boyfriend as a Valentine's day activity. We have never done anything like this before and had no dance experience. I had no idea what to expect, but when we arrived there, they welcomed us kindly and we were able to jump right in. The instructor, Geoff, walked through the basics with us and we ended up having such a great time. We look forward to practicing the basics and coming back to learn more in the future. If you are looking for something new to do in Athens or just something to switch up date night a bit, I would highly recommend this :)

As a new dancer, I am continually impressed by the accessibility of the multilevel drop in classes. The teachers are kind, encouraging, and inclusive. My 3 year old twins and 7 year old are also enjoying their classes. They love Miss Cathy! We always feel better after taking classes at the Studio.

We enrolled our 3.5 year old daughter in The Studio Athens' Creative Movement class and she absolutely loves it! The teacher is knowledgeable and puts together really enjoyable, age-appropriate activities in a low-pressure and fun environment. Also, I cannot praise their COVID protocols enough. Not only is every single person in the facility masked (staff, students, parents, teachers), but they also have specific instructions for responding to positive COVID cases as well as cases of exposure. I feel very safe sending my child there. Thank you for this wonderful community!
