Just tried Royal Peasant for the first time today, and I can understand why it is so popular. The food was really good and came out quickly. The menu is small, but it made the choices less overwhelming. We sat inside which can get a little loud with the bar although we still had a great time. There is an outdoor seating area that I think allows dogs. I got the bangers and mash plus sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The only potential downside is Royal Peasant has a small parking lot so it can sometimes be difficult to find parking.

The excellent Google score brought us in to the Royal Peasant and I'm glad it did. Excellent food and friendly and efficient service from Alexandra. We enjoyed everything we ordered including the Nicoise salad, a burger and bangers and mash.

First time customer, staff is extremely nice and welcoming! I loved the vibe and I felt comfortable instantly. My waitress was Skyler and Lisa brought my food out. I will come back a million times!

The food was good, however, it’s not something that I would go out of my way to get. I also didn’t necessarily agree with the price, considering one of the dishes being a little expensive (we only got a few pieces of protein on that dish). The drinks were okay, however, I would love to see more of a variety of different drinks and a better emphasis on the bar program. One last thing, the place needs a food runner or at least a host because it was a little busy and the waitresses and bartender were slammed and could not attend to everyone in a precises amount of time. However, I am aware that the bartender and waitresses are doing their best to help everyone out, so therefore I gave the service a 4 out of 5 stars.

We tried this bar for the first time tomorrow. We sat outside and drunk my favorite beer. It was great time to sit outside in good weather and have a drink with my princesses.

This is a small public house in terms of square footage, but its food game is HUGE! We ate dinner here before singing a concert, so we did not have a beer. However, the plan is to return soon. We live in Atlanta, so the experience has to be worth the commute, right? The Pork Belly with Korean BBQ sauce was insanely delicious. My fish and chips was top notch. The coating was light and crispy, and the fish was fresh, flaky, and substantial. Chips were skinny fries, but the tartar sauce made it super yummy when used as a chip dip. My husband had the lamb stew over rice. It was herbacious and rich, in a balanced way. Eat here!

Definition of dive bar. Royal burger was fantastic, my son enjoyed the bangers and mash. Guinness was expert poured. Crowd was lively and varied. With enough money, I could waste an afternoon here easily.

Such a wonderful gem. The atmosphere, the people, the servers, and the food make for a perfect experience. Everyone seems to know everyone else which creates a wonderful warm space. My server was Alexandra, and she is the nicest, most personable server I’ve come across maybe ever. Lisa the bartender was also amazing as we waited for a table. The service is quick and friendly. The food hit the spot and the beer choices were many. I’ll definitely be back.

Waitress was sweet and quick. I had the peasant pie, and it was worth every penny. The flaky and buttery puff pastry was the best I’d had, combined with a hearty stew that warmed me up on a cold night. The chips were well made, crispy and fluffy. The Guinness pint, as an Irishman, was well poured. I enjoyed the pairing of the jalepeno jelly on the lamb burger, a twist on the classic mint jelly. The toffee pudding was quite lovely, and the atmosphere complimented the food well. While I’m naturally not a fan of the Brits, this pub was a good experience. Go here and enjoy the quality food, and you’ll feel like you didn’t get enough… in a good way!

One of the few restaurants that stay open super late which was nice for a post late-night meeting/studying! The restaurant is super cute and decorated very appropriately! The house chips were DELICIOUS and a great appetizer. The lamb curry was a bit spicy for me but when paired with their yogurt sauce was super good. The best item on the menu was the Peasant’s pie (not pictures)! It had a delicious puff pastry over some nice potato and beef stew. Delicious meal for a cold evening and will be back soon for that pie again.
