Don’t waste your money on this lipstick on a pig. This place is worse than the freshmen dorms and Athens real estate. When you move in, get ready for your apartment to be small and nothing like the model. In the first week you’ll find mold, appliances not working (washer, dishwasher, fire alarms, front door lock) and bugs, lots of bugs. Not even completely moved in yet, hasn’t been a month and there’s already been huge lizards, cockroaches, and lines of ants. This has been my two week experience at the lovely RIVE, only about 20% of my work orders have been addressed as well and I’m still without fire alarms. Feels illegal. Don’t waste your money here, you’re just a number to them.

10/10 as always!! My apartment was having some trouble with our dishwasher, and the crew was out here promptly to help us troubleshoot. Shout out to Tee, she spent hours here, making sure that everything was running smoothly. all is well now, thanks again!

I am beyond furious right now. I have lived here for a year now and have had some problems but not enough to warrant a poor review until now. My apartment has been pretty vacant over the summer as everyone has moved back home & we will occasionally come up for the weekend a few times. To save money, we turned off all lights and AC and was very vigilant about locking the door before leaving. I was the last one to leave, and I know for a fact I did all of those things. I have come back after the apartment sitting vacant for a month to find that maintenance came in and the door had been unlocked for a month and left all the lights on and AC on low. OUR FRONT DOOR WAS UNLOCKED FOR ANYONE TO WALK IN FOR A WHOLE MONTH! Our bill is over 150 a month for just electricity for four people despite no one being here and it was supposed to be all turned off. On top of that, I remembered to restock to list paper before I left to go home, so I would be stocked up but it all goes missing when I come back. They claimed they were doing work to our showers but nothing has been done. The water dripping from all four showers is DISGUSTING and I bleach my tub every week. This is unacceptable living behavior and a place where safety is not a concern. I have written positive reviews in the past for this complex. However, this beyond crosses the line.

My daughter just moved into this renovated apartment yesterday with cockroach infestation. They did not provide another location for them to sleep until fixed and they are waiting on the exterminator who they say sometimes shows up and does not show up. They have a serious health concern, this is a brand new renovated apartment, with hundreds of cockroaches visible with thousands expected to be behind the walls. Have been calling front office all morning and no one answering when they said yesterday afternoon someone would be addressing first thing in the morning and apologized for how the exterminator was making them look bad. This infestation was going on for a while and they did not delay the move into this “new” apartment and address the concern in any aspect. The white powder is boric acid the ladies placed down to try and address the situation. The Rise did nothing, cockroaches are running all over freely, a very large public health concern in these apartments.
