If you’re looking for a place in Athens that allows pets, has a 24/7 fitness center and is actually reasonably priced - and not a tiny box - you should definitely check out The Pointe Apartments. The buildings may be a bit dated but it’s refreshing to actually find a place under 1k that’s 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Solid parking lot set up and the apartments are in pretty great condition. Would definitely consider leasing here myself in the future. The only drawback for me is the exit and entrance changeover is pretty rough. I am here to deliver a door dash or even visit my friends that reside in this complex quite often, or even on a daily basis some weeks. I always have to slow to an almost full stop at a slow snail of a speed upon entrance or the front will scrub on the initial tilt up of the entryway, or my tailpipe will scrub as my car fully inclines upon the entryway to The Pointe. Furthermore, I have never been able to exit without scrubbing both the underneath front bumper and/or brush guard on the front end of my sedan upon exiting. I also have a turbo dual tailpipe on my sedan and the exit is such an uneven plane from the Gaines school rd plane that the front end takes a pretty rough scrub each time as well as both of my tailpipes without fail. The exit lane is quite close to a tight enough curve on gaines school rd that the only way to exit is to do so without hesitation and either punch it enough to make the 3 lane crossover gap on the left turn out and because they have let the exit and entrance lanes deteriorate so over the course of time it is undeniably going to deter me from actually signing a lease here because my car having to receive negative impact nearly every time I simply enter or exit my home dwelling is just an unacceptable drawback for me. The only way rent will get paid is if I can get to work which inherently requires me to have reliable and well maintained transportation. Also, I’m certain from my research into their availability and pricing that they are more than able financially to fix this issue quickly and at little to nearly no true loss. It seems as though there may be a lack of true pride in their property as a whole. Small things being left to ruin tends to always mean that the bigger issues are much farther gone for sure. Hope they see to the repairs soon and do right by their property & the community entrusting them to provide a comfort, care, & dedication that their pricing should reflect and respect. 🫡 😁👍

Have lived here for about three years and It has been a pleasurable experience. Management and maintenance have been prompt in dealing with most issues and repairs( including a new A/C unit and dishwasher). Also competitively priced rent for the area and genuinely quiet save for the occasional noise of a neighbor, which naturally comes with apartment living. All in all, a good and seemingly safe neighborhood to live in with a responsive as well as proactive management.

This is a beautiful apartment complex with nice amenities and very affordable prices. When taking my tour, management was very helpful and able to answer any questions I had. Angelina in particular was very sweet and knowledgeable about the property. Highly recommend for anyone looking for inexpensive housing.

Now I have only been here a week. So far Maintenance has been such a big help to us.( I notice that's past irritations with previous reviewers was about Maintenance however this new crew I hope stays!) The front office staff has been absolutely amazing and helpful! The other tenants that I have met are really nice!

I have been living here for the past two years and just renewed to stay for another year. I have completely loved my experience here so far, very welcoming and homey, and the community is fantastic, with a true sense of neighborly respect! Plenty of amenities as well, from a pool to a gym, and communal grills in the picnic area, a children's playground and even a dog park! I feel really lucky that I get to stay here!

Looking for apartments in the Athens area for my sister and The Pointe was great! The buildings are kept up well and the entire team was so friendly and welcoming! My sister is very excited to move in!

I lived in two different apartments while living here. First in a one bedroom for a year, then a two bedroom for almost two years. The buildings are definitely a little older on the inside than they appear on the outside but I really did like living here and am sad to go! There was some issues with bugs here and there or just needing to fix some stuff, but the staff was always kind and helpful! The property manager, Jennifer, was always kind, patient, and very helpful. Every time I saw her, she always knew me and all the other residents by name and I can only hope my future property managers are as great as she is. Although you won’t be getting the newest apartment, the price is very reasonable, the complex is safe, and the staff is nice and accommodating.
