Very rustic with charming decor. Very roomy, quiet, clean with all the comfort of home! Close to city things but in the countryside. Being able to go sit and listen to music was a relaxing way to spend a Saturday night. They have nice little fire pits and a beautiful deck.. all the staff was super friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was walking by our car and asked if there was anything she could help us with! Great get away!

Went here to see the McKinney Emerald Mines not too far away. Booking online was easy. The room was clean, neat and had no bedbugs at all. The pillows sheets actually smelled brand new, not bleached. You can also park right outside your room which is a huge plus. Communication through text was great. The shower could get really hot/really cold which is also really nice too especially after a long day. Great wifi, Beautiful views. They have a bar near the hotel with a large variety of drinks and places to sit. Ellie was an amazing bartender. There's also a coffee food truck in the morning that served the best coffee I've had in a while. Impeccable quality compared to most hotels for the price. Will absolutely come again. πππππ

My mother and I booked a room here two days in advance, and we requested a ground floor room as my mother is disabled. We received a confirmation email that day, and a text the day of the stay. The text did not contain any information regarding room numbers or access codes, and instructed us to ask the front desk for any additional information. We were set to arrive around 9pm; the website, email, and text all stated that check in was 4pm-anytime, so we assumed the front desk would be open. When we arrived, there was no "front desk", only the taproom. I asked the woman working the bar where to check in and she just told me we should have got a text, I told her we didn't, so she looked up our info and wrote it down for us, it was a 2nd floor room. I asked if there was any way we could change that to ground floor, as, again, my mother is disabled. She went back to the computer and began trying to help when another woman (I'm assuming a manager of some sort) told her not to because it was Friday night (what???) and that we would have to call The Pineola of we wanted any actual reservation related assistance. So we stood there, in the parking lot of the Pineola, and called The Pineola. And you know what? It went to voicemail! So we couldn't change to a ground floor room. If we weren't out in the middle of nowhere so late at night, we would've left, but against all odds, my mother managed her way up the stairs, and I can only hope she'll make it back down safely. The room is nice, the beds are comfy, the service is horrible, and the accessibility is non-existent. Unless you're a fully able bodied person, I recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

We were in our camper so canβt comment on the rooms. Campground very clean and well kept. We didnβt take advantage of all the amenities due to leaf season on the parkway and at Grandfather Mtn. This campground is located so central to all the things we like in the mountains, mainly the parkway, grandfather mtn and Linville falls so a great central location. Grandfathers Vineyard and winery was a very great and relaxing place with live music every afternoon. And several nice restaurants closeby.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pineola! The hotel is well situated, halfway between the trails and Linville, and about an hour away from Asheville. The hotel is very welcoming and offers awesome amenities for a low cost: bonfire, board games and bar. There is also a little free coffee station in the morning. Our only disappointment is with the rooms' look which feel a little outdated and very dark. Maybe they could work on more modern lighting to make them feel more cozy? Overall great experience.

An underrated stay for sure. We stayed in one of the rooms and it has a motel like layout, but the general area of the lodging was very open. Enjoyed some morning walks with a fresh cup of coffee from The Coffee Tin. It's a little isolated but I think its at the perfect spot to be a short drive away from Linville Caverns and Trail, Sugar Mtn, Banner Elk, Grandfather Mtn, etc. If you liked to explore trails here but want a good spot without having to be in a busy road, its the perfect spot!

We enjoyed a last minute trip to the WNC mountains during peak foliage... Beautiful! Our booking.com room search brought up a mountain cabin at the Pinola Inn. Booked in seconds while traveling up the mountain. We were not disappointed!!! The cabin was meticulously furnished and cleaned. The property was well maintained and offered outdoor music on the deck. Nice amenities... Heart shaped spa in our private dressing room along with a very nice mattress and quality bedding all in the spacious well lit room. We will definitely visit again. The Tin coffee truck was on property for a breakfast muffin and coffee. Nice!

We camped in a RV site and it was quiet, pretty, level and easy to get into. We loved the trails around the grounds for a morning run, had a blast playing pickle ball and loved the Tap room. The bath house was well stocked and has all the essentials. Perfect location to explore the beautiful towns around

Everyone was fantastic. The room was quaint & cozy. The pillows were amazing, I would have bought them, but they weren't for sale. The comforters reminded me of my grandma's. I would have bought that also. If you had flannel sheets or pillow cases, that would have been one step closer to heaven. My stay was perfect.

We were in the area to visit Linville Cavern and Linville Falls. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The atmosphere at the Tap Room was amazing. Staff and locals made us welcome. We were thrilled to join them in a trivia contest Thursday evening. Easy check in and check out. Great property!
