I didn’t know where to turn and was given contact info for three attorneys. Of the three, Mr. Stephens resonated with me from the first phone call. He listened without judgement, responded with empathy and compassion, and was direct while being kind. The other two attorneys led with comments about fees, and the potential additional fees based on the amount of work they would need to do - all without getting full details of the circumstances. Mr. Stephens and his staff were responsive, respectful, and supportive throughout a very difficult situation. I hired him because he said he was going to get the case dismissed he stated “barrow county always do this” then he got my money and didn’t look at the evidence until a day before i had to go to court for a plee and then said “ its best you take the plee there not going to play fair” ( he obviously knew that before i hired him) then i take the plee and the case ended up getting dismissed for my co defendant for lack of evidence
