Our experience at this venue was extremely disappointing. While the location itself is beautiful, the management, specifically Ms. Daun Fest, was unprofessional and disorganized throughout our entire wedding process. We were originally promised a 2 p.m. setup time, only to be told the day before that it was moved to 4 p.m., and then pressured to pay extra to regain the original time. On the day of the wedding, the setup fees suddenly increased again without warning. There were also several logistical failures: no staff present with the promised microphones for the ceremony, causing a delay; elderly guests were left waiting 30 minutes for transport to the reception; and communication from staff was consistently rude and dismissive. What should have been a joyful day turned into a stressful experience because of poor management and lack of professionalism. I would not recommend this venue until serious improvements are made to staff training, communication, and overall customer care.

I attended an evening wedding in the Day Chapel at Botanical Gardens in Athens. The handicap parking was only about two spaces down a steep hill. I ended up having to twist and turn several times to turn around and go back to the regular parking area. The pathway to walk to the Chapel was horrible because it was all down hill. I was afraid of falling. The chapel was down hill with a gorge behind it. I will never attend a function there again. I gave a rating of 2 because the Chapel was truly beautiful.

My husband and I had our wedding here on 4/14/2012. It was beautiful and affordable. We had a cake reception downstairs. I highly recommend renting the dance floor. It is entirely worth the extra expense. We also rented the piano and had a family member play. It sounded beautiful in the chapel. The chapel has beautiful woodwork, especially the carved trees on the door. It is also relatively handicap-accessible which allowed my grandparents to attend comfortably. The flowers were starting to bloom and everything turned out absolutely perfect. The staff was VERY friendly and easy to get in touch with to make all arrangements, including a rehearsal. I highly recommend Athens Day Chapel as a wedding venue. We have beautiful pictures and memories there.

This place is beautiful! I have attended two weddings here, and both were lovely, even without elaborate decorations. There is ornate woodwork and an old-timey feel even though everything is in beautiful condition. Definitely perfect for a "woodland theme" wedding, among many other themes.

I got married here in September of 1998. It was the perfect venue for a small wedding and reception. It's so pretty that you really don't need to do a lot for decor. I highly reccomend.

Wonderful, attended a wedding, chapel is beautiful, acoustics for music are excellent. There was a classical guitarist for the wedding ceremony and he could be well-heard throughout the sanctuary. Great experience!

An exceptionally nice Chapel holding a new Athens Anglican Church service every Sunday. The building is quite inspiring and open. Seeing the trees Through the Windows during the service is awesome.

This is a spectacular Chapel used as an event venue in a very fine setting. The use of wood are spectacular. It is hard to get access to the interior of this Chapel unless it is being used for an event.
