Our wedding at the Chapel was the most magical day of my entire life. Not a single detail was missed - from being personally waited on during our private moment after the ceremony with drinks and delicious hors d'oeuvres, having our plates waiting for us at dinner time, ensuring every kids meal and vegan meal made it to the right spot at the right time (this meant SO much to our guests), and so much more. I didn't have a single moment of stress or worry all night because everything was handled by the Chapel's incredible staff. Everyone gushed over the food and I am still getting compliments from friends and family a month after the wedding day. Thank you all SO MUCH!

We held our wedding reception at The Chapel Athens in June, and we are SO glad that we picked them! The venue was perfect for us: It’s a gorgeous setting within walking distance to all of downtown Athens, and we loved the indoor-outdoor ability of the space. We set up a tent in the outside courtyard, and guests enjoyed hanging out there in addition to the indoor space. The original church ceiling is beautiful and made for excellent acoustics for our band. One of the main feedback that we received from our guests was that they loved the food- multiple people told us that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! Meagan and her team made the night seamless- the buffet was efficient and quick, and nobody had to wait for a drink at the bar. If possible, Meagan was able to honor all of our extra requests. We would absolutely choose The Chapel Athens over and over again! Thank you for making the reception of our dreams!

We got married at The Chapel Athens last fall, and are still marveling at what an amazing experience it was! We used the in-house wedding coordinator package, and Maddie made everything a breeze for us. She paid careful attention to every last detail, making sure we had every vendor lined up and ensuring that our big day went off without a hitch. We even had several family members mentioned how amazing Maddie was and how she really made the whole night come together! Callie helped us coordinate our rehearsal dinner at South Kitchen, which was also a great night. We were so glad to have been able to do our rehearsal dinner through the same people because it made the weekend absolutely seamless. The food and drinks at the wedding were phenomenal, and the kitchen and wait staff made sure every single guest was served exactly what they ordered in a timely manner. The space was perfect for a great night of dancing, and we had so much fun! Our only regret was that it all went by too fast!

The Chapel Athens is seriously the BEST venue to have your wedding reception at! I have actually been an employee at Athens Food Group (The Chapel Athens + Georgian Hall) for almost 3 years now, and I can say without a doubt our staff is the best! Working behind the scenes, I can vouch for everything we do to prepare for each individual event and the effort that all of the staff members put into making the experience incredible for guests. That is why without a second thought trusted The Chapel Athens staff to give us the best experience ever! Meg went above and beyond for us during every step of the planning process and ensured every single part of our wedding went smoothly. I truly cannot recommend all of the managers at The Chapel Athens enough! Having worked with all of them, you are always in good hands! The food and specialty cocktails were absolutely incredible, and many of our guests were sure to tell us how great everything was! The servers and bartenders are all wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed!

The Chapel Athens exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding. Not only is the venue stunning, but the staff is incredible as well. Calley was in constant communication with us to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams, and she never hesitated to answer any of our questions or make us feel at ease during the planning process. I also feel the need to share that our guests could not stop talking about the food. So many guests said “this is the best wedding food I’ve ever had.”, and they’re still talking about it weeks later! It was truly delicious. If you’re on the fence about choosing to have your wedding at the Chapel, do it. You will not regret it!

Our wedding at The Chapel was absolutely perfect! Maddie, Lindsey, and team were all a pleasure to work with. They know how to manage an event perfectly. All of our guests continue to rave about the food and service! As for the venue itself, it’s gorgeous. The classic church look with the original painted ceilings but modern white interior was the perfect backdrop. We highly recommend to anyone considering a wedding or event at The Chapel!

10/10 recommend. Choosing The Chapel Athens was our best decision when planning our wedding. We felt Maddie and her team always had our best interests at heart. She actually made an 11th-hour suggestion that ended up saving us several thousand dollars. In addition to the venue being beautiful inside and out, the food was outstanding and something many of our guests commented on during the reception and the following days. We communicated to Maddie several specific, important components of our wedding ceremony and reception. She and her team understood the gravity and executed them flawlessly. We cannot endorse this venue enough. Book it now!

We had the absolute BEST time at The Chapel Athens for our wedding! Maddie, Lindsey, and the team at the Chapel were so great to work with - they were super responsive and very helpful during the entire planning process. On the wedding day, the staff had everything under control and the day was very smooth (and if there were any hiccups I didnt even notice). The ceremony was perfectly set up, and the room flip was done fast and efficiently! We were very impressed at how efficient the staff was during the flip. Cocktail hour was smooth, and there was never a long line at the bar. One of my favorite parts of the night was the passed espresso martini’s for dessert! They were delicious and came around quickly to guests. Not to mention the food is AMAZING! The venue itself is gorgeous. When we booked our wedding the renovations were not yet complete, and we were a little nervous. However, Lindsey kept us updated on all the plans and her vision really came to life. I had numerous guest tell me that this was their favorite wedding venue they’ve seen. We could not have been more pleased with the venue and our experience with the staff. They exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Would definitely recommend this venue and group to anyone planning a wedding!

If you are thinking about this venue as your special day, DO IT!! Will not disappoint! While I was venue hunting, I happend to drive through athens one day and saw someone get married here. I quickly asked for a tour and my husband and I LOVEDDD IT!! This was the perfect place for my May 2024 wedding. From the beauty of the venue, to the great quality and care from the venue managers and staff. Everything was perfect! Meg, who is so awesome, did an amazing job with my wedding planner to make sure everything was coordinated well, and that the venue staff were prepared for this day! I am so happy I chose to get married here! Also have to mention how AMAZINGG the food was!! I can't tell you how many times people from our wedding complimented on how great the food was from our wedding!
