From my call for help to my appointment to see what they can do for me was a wonderful experience. All the ladies were so nice, polite, respectful and professional!!! I'm not just saying this because I got the help that was needed, I believe I would feel the same way if they weren't able to because the funds are limited. They can only help you when they have it. I say this to say my experience still would have been great because all the ladies were spectacular!!! Lucy and the crew keep up the great work with servicing our community your help and work will never go unnoticed with me ❤️

The ark helped my family when we had not only just moved to athens but had just given birth to our son who was in the nicu @grady hospital in Atlanta. The cost of gas to go back and forth everyday was around 300 every 7 days, needless to say we didn't have enough to pay our rent, no other organization in athens was able to help. The Ark blessed us with rental assistance and the entire process was completed in less than 5 days. These people were a huge blessing and gave us hope when we had just about given up. Thanks to them we still have our apartment

Do not call them for any type of financial assistance or service. This place is highly selective about who they choose to help and I believe their choices are racially motivated. I was in a car accident 12/6 and fractured my spine and they told me because of the nature of my employment at a local hospital they would not assist me with utility assistance. I provided all of the documentation they asked and requested, and they still asked for documentation such as additional check stubs that have not even been printed as of yet. When the written requirements only requested 2 check stubs and that was provided. If you really needed the assistance I wouldn’t call them especially if you are a person of color!

I would like to give a great praise to this place the Ark you all were going to help me and my roommate pay our bills and I really appreciate it. We were able to find good jobs and take care of our expenses and handle the bills. We are now current with everything. I plan on donating to this organization I believe in their work I believe they do want to help people. Thank you all so much for trying I truly appreciate you.
