My cousin rented us a cabin through Tanglewood for a girls trip. We were all excited to enjoy this three day trip. Me and my daughter arrived much later than everyone else. So we pretty much took a shower and laid down. We was woken up in the middle of the morning with my niece and sister being bit by bedbugs. Which I have never experienced so was a little grossed out and learned you can bring them home and I sure didn’t want that. We were told to sit all of our stuff outside and to go buy trash bags and we needed to wash everything. They offered another cabin and a bottle of wine. So we said okay. We start moving stuff outside and in trash bags after my sister went and bought them and laundry detergent and disinfectant sprays. We get to the other cabin which was nice but dirty. So we cleaned as we was doing laundry. The housekeeper came around 4-5 that afternoon, she just walked right in and asked us how we were doing and we said good under the circumstances and how dirty the place was she said are y'all compulsive complainers? I was shocked, after all we had dealt with? Being outside in the cold moving stuff and afraid to bring bed bugs to the new cabin and our cars. Are you serious? We spent the whole day Saturday cleaning and washing clothes and our bags and blankets. So we paid all this money for a relaxing girls trip to doing nothing but cleaning as we all had to wake up and leave the next day. I would never stay here again. Watch out if you stay here, you may take bedbugs homes. 33 Lovers Lane be careful.

Shady Brook cabin has bedbugs and my cousin was bitten 3 times. We had no sleep. Moved to Fox Ridge cabin early the next morning. It was dusty dirty everywhere especially the downstairs bathroom. We done laundry all day Saturday, so we didn't spread bedbugs to that cabin or bring them back home with us. The rude cleaning woman with an attitude, let herself in and had the nerve to ask if we were chronic complainers. ??? The cleaning woman smarted off about doing our laundry after we were done with it (by this time it is 4:30 pm. Most of the day is gone!). She was calling me a liar about the dust everywhere. I took pictures of everything after she came in and sent them to the front office. I have never complained or had reason to anywhere else in my life time. This is the first time I have ever wrote a bad review anywhere. I have never been treated so bad by a cleaning woman, who by the way, made everything worse!!!! This weekend was The Weekend from Hell. I could have stayed home and cleaned and saved $458, plus the money we spent on cleaning supplies (trash bags, laundry detergent etc. that we went to get to move out of the first cabin with) and gas money. That is no lie!!! I will not go back!!!!

We stayed at 33 lovers lane. My daughter said something was biting her on the couch, didn’t think much about it as it was late when we arrive and we left to get food. Came back is was bedtime and layed down and was woke up from my daughter screaming bed bug was in her pillow so we slept in a different room for me to be woke up from getting bit by what I also found to be was a bedbug in my bed at 8 am. We called the office and was moved to a different cabin which cost more the then original cabin we were in, we were told we could only be refunded around $180. Out of the 680 we paid for the entire weekend and offered a bottle of wine which didn’t receive until 4:30pm. We go but trash bags and cleaning supplies in order to move our things from one place to the next. Everything had to stay outside and we spent the entire day doing laundry so that we didn’t transfer bed bugs to the other cabin or to our homes. Not to mention the new cabin we were charged a cleaning fee of $175 and the new cabin was filthy and had to take more time out of our day to clean the cabin. Then cleaning lady comes around 4 almost 5 and knocked one time and proceeded to walk in our cabin and had the nerve to say we must be compulsive complainers. We literally showed her the nasty mess we had found. And offered to do our laundry at this point we were done with laundry we had spent our entire day doing. We didn’t even get to enjoy October fest at all. This by far is the worst trip I’ve ever had. It was completely ruined. Not to mention no compensation and we all drove from hrs away. We were offered a free day but we all have jobs we had to return too on Monday. Highly disappointed with this place and it don’t even deserve a 1 star! I have so many pictures of everything but it’s not giving options to upload them! Stay safe cabin 33 has bedbugs!

We stayed in the cabin name Southern Seclusion. It was absolutely beautiful inside and out!! Full kitchen 2 bedrooms 2 full baths, hot tub, rocking chairs outside. Beautifully decorated and oh so comfortable. There are also 3 separate outside wooded setting areas 1 with a fire pit! There’s so much to do in the area, but this place is so great it’s hard to leave

Hello, here is my review of my stay at Miners Mountain Cabin at 81 Rose O`Sharon Dr in Helen-Ga. The place and the house are a very quiet place, ideal for resting. But regarding cleanliness, my list of complaints is quite long. The kitchen and dining room floor was completely sticky and very dirty. The oven was very dirty and full of stuck-on grease. The corners of the walls had spider webs all over them, especially on the back porch. The jacuzzi was very dirty, impossible to use, full of mud stuck to the sides. For the price I paid, I found it totally disrespectful to a customer who traveled 7 hours from Mobile-AL to have a moment to relax and had to stay in the middle of so much dirt. I don't usually leave negative reviews anywhere because I know that small details can be forgotten, but in this case there were many things. Thank you Paulo P Silva

The cabin was quaint and cozy. The AC unit kept the temperature warm inside despite the cold outside. The hot tub was enjoyable and definitely a plus. The cleaning people tried to start cleaning it prematurely, but we stopped them when we arrived back from breakfast to pack up and leave before 11 am check out time.
