The food taste is great! The prices are fair. I definitely recommend this place. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla and an order of nachos with carne Asada. Let me warn you, those nachos are meant to be share. They serve big portions.

Tacos are not street size, they’re much bigger. I normally eat 3 and only had 2 today. So good! Also likes their salsas. Will be back!

MY first time visiting and I knew as soon as I drove into the parking lot, I picked a awesome spot because the line was out the door and yet it was moving fast as I got in line. The menu is well presented with very clear signs on the wall above the cashier area, the prices are very fair and service was friendly and efficient. One thing that really stood out to be was how much meat each Asada taco I don’t think I have ever seen as generous of a serving with the street taco anywhere. Well I typically don’t go to Athens, but I will be sure to visit this place when I’m back around lunchtime in the area.

The best nachos I’ve ever had in my life. Tears of joy are flowing as I’m writing this, reminiscing on how amazing those nachos were🥺 The portions are huge, one order of nachos alone could easily feed a family of four and only $12.95!! Best in Athens.

My very 1st taco spot, since moving to Georgia from Arizona. I kept hearing about it on social media & was finally in the area to stop in for lunch. My theory is... If the place is packed, The Food Is Good!! If it's empty, it's for a reason. Well we got here about 11:40 am and the line was to the door and within minutes, the line was out the door and along the sidewalk. Yes, I know it was hitting lunch time, but something tells me, this is very normal for this place. People don't mind waiting in line for great, fresh food. My mom ordered the Lengua Taco and Carne Asada taco. She loved the lengua taco. Said it was tastefully cooked and seasoned. I ordered a Carne Asada Taco & Carne Asada Sope. The taco was enough meat for 2 tacos. The meat was marinated, seasoned and grilled to perfection. The Sope was fresh, the beans were yummy, and the toppings just made the entire Sope absolutely delicious!!! The fresh slices of avocado was the cherry on top!! We got chips & salsa, that were made fresh today and the salsa was definitely marinated or fermented, because it was delicious. And a Pina Agua Fresca that was so delicious & thirst quenching. I love that it wasn't too sweet. We are already planning on bringing people with us next week, so we can try other things like the torta, other tacos, etc. The place was very clean, even tho is was very busy, they still made sure they kept tables wiped down and ready for the next customer to sit and enjoy their food. There was plenty of seating inside and even had tables outside in the front. The women's bathroom was updated and very clean. I'm so very happy that I found a GREAT place for Tacos and Mexican food, made fresh to order and with fresh ingredients. "Un millón de gracias a todos los chicos que trabajaron, la comida estaba deliciosa. ¡Nos vemos pronto!"

I go into Tacos Los Plebes like a kid with allowance entering a candy store. These are the best tacos I’ve had outside of Austin and a welcome respite from other overhyped and bland “Mexican” restaurants in town. Highly recommend any of the beef and the chorizo, which is outstanding and makes other chorizo pale in comparison. The vibes are great, neighborhoody atmosphere and my only compliant is that there aren’t more locations of Tacos Los Plebes so I drop in at every corner of Athens. Plus the prices are stupid — for $2.99 you get a giant taco with amazing flavors. Already drooling thinking of our next meal here.

Have been hearing about this place since I moved to Athens & was SUPER excited to try it. One thing is for sure- they have the best taco deal around town. All 3 of these tacos were less than $9. I got the chorizo, campechano & al pastor (but i think i got asada instead). Everything was decent but not as mind blowing as i had expected. The quesadilla tho was AMAZING. 10/10 would get that again. The tres leches was also incredible but both of these items are not as good of a deal as the tacos. The servers were SO NICE & the guy behind the cashier was so funny- 10/10 would go back again to support amazing service

I went here about 2 weeks ago and have been thinking about those tacos every day ever since. THEY ARE THE BEST IN ATHENS HANDS DOWN!!! So delicious, everyone working was very nice and professional, and the salsa was amazing as well. Love, love, love it here!!!
