While traveling for work, I stopped in and enjoyed Taco Mamas quite a few times. The staff was always amazing and friendly, the food was excellent and I thought the margaritas were the best in town! 1/2 price House Margaritas and Skinny Margaritas on Tuesday evening… and the “Build your own” Taco Salad… my favorites. I would recommend the Poke Taco as well.

All the staff were very friendly. It's great to sit outside under the umbrella on the weekends and watch the outside. It's great to have a beer in the wonderful streets of Athens.

We dropped in for a quick lunch. Menu is big with lots of options. We ordered Steak nachos and a shrimp taco salad. The nacho chips were extremely salty. So salty that we could not enjoy the meal. The portion size was enormous. The salad was average although lime-cilatro vinegarette was delicious. The services was awesome, very friendly. Would try again.

Food was good but the margarita on the rocks was mostly all rocks. The few sips of margarita were good but I feel like I literally paid $12+ for a glass of ice.

Excellent food and service! We were pleasantly surprised at the speed that our food was served after we placed our order. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. The non-alcoholic pomegranate margarita was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend.

It looked like they put the shredded Kraft cheddar cheese in our burritos and expected the meat to heat it up because it was still cold by the time it got to the table. The salsa was mostly water and flavorless. I won’t be going back. The only saving grace was how nice the staff was. Also, there was absolutely nothing Mexican about that Mexican mac & cheese.

Staff was very friendly, took time to explain the menu. I had a cheesy beef taco, a steak taco, and Mac and cheese. The barbacoa in the beef taco was pretty good. The steak wasn't overly flavorful. The tortillas were a bit sweet. The Mac and cheese was nearly flavorless save for the salt on it, do not recommend. The guacamole was missing lime and cilantro so it was kind of meh.
