Avoid this place like the plague. Cobblestone is an absolute disaster of an apartment complex — quite possibly the worst in existence. The walls are crawling with ants (literally), the property is a filthy, neglected mess, and management couldn’t care less if your unit was on fire as long as the rent clears. They are cold, dismissive, and operate with one goal in mind: bleed you dry. Don’t expect help, don’t expect decency — expect silence and indifference while you're stuck living in a pest-infested dump. Every day here feels like a mistake. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

Been living here for 2 years. I'm a little frustrated at our gate situation. What's the point of paying for permits and gate openers if the gates are always broken? I've seen people break the gates either to get in OR they don't know how to operate the gate ( pushing the button for a long time, assuming it's gonna make the gate open faster, not getting close enough to the gate for it to open or waiting for someone to leave and they go through the exit gate ). I have had to kick the homeless out of the dumpster, there's people sneaking in all the time and it makes me feel unsafe where I should feel safe. The homes are beautiful but this now concerns my safety and why we keep paying more when it's not safe? Anyone could get in. This is my home along with other residents. How are y'all not doing anything about this?

Lived here for two years and absolutely loved it. Always felt super safe and the rent was cheap for what we got! Don’t rent through College Town if you’re looking at the Summit. A lot better options that won’t enter your home without warning

The maintenance does a decent job at responding to complaints/concerns. HOWEVER, if you sign here make sure to read the WHOLE contract! Upon moving out (as I was a resident last year) I was informed that all floor plans are subject to a $135 charge whether the unit is fully cleaned or not. There are lots of charges that inconveniently get snuck into your move out inspection, and the only way to dispute it is if your roommates own up for anything that happens wrong (which does not happen, since people do not want to lose more money). Long story short, while the apartments are nice and spacious, and the management is nice, they are definitely greedy when it comes to property upkeep/move outs and move ins. Don't expect a full deposit returned to you!

I lived here for two years (my junior and senior year of college) and absolutely LOVED it. The staff was always helpful and responded quickly whenever I had an issue in the unit. They were also quick to inform us of health and safety changes when COVID started to break out. The neighborhood is a nice gated area with lots of dogs walking around. The rent is fairly priced especially compared to other complexes in the area. I wish I was staying in Athens so I could stay in this complex another year!

My roommates and I moved into the Summit a few weeks ago, and we absolutely love everything about the community! Both Jessica's have been very helpful, and they were quick to respond to all of our questions/concerns. The neighborhood is very quiet, and has plenty of parking. 10/10 would recommend living here!

I spent a lot of time here over the last year and got to know the place pretty well; the houses for 3 are much better options than the condos or duplex or apartment options they also offer. While expensive rent wise, and expensive to heat and cool due to the cheap construction and little insulation, they're pretty nice inside- definitely cozy. The lease terms and rent due dates are restrictive, and maintenance takes forever to come and fix things, even with multiple orders. Or, they'll just show up without warning banging on the door waking you up. Happened to me, and I didn't even live there. Overall, decent for the money, it's gated and safe, full of college age people, and the pool and clubhouse are nice. Location wise is average for the money but it's an easy 10m drive anywhere on campus.

I lived here from July 2015 - December 2017 and had a great living experience! This place is by no means perfect, but for the price and compared to what my friends in other communities dealt with, I counted myself lucky. I lived in a 2br/2.5ba townhouse. The unit had plenty of space, and our rooms were much larger than the average "luxury apartments" downtown. We never had an issue with noise and lived around very courteous neighbors. The unit itself was average construction quality but definitely did the job for a college apartment and looked very nice. I felt at home in our unit, which was the most important thing to me. The management staff were always kind to us and remembered who we were. Maintenance was prompt, coming within 1-2 days and were always friendly. They knock a couple times, but they will enter if they can't hear an answer (in response to another review). My only complaint with this place was bugs. We never had ants or spiders, but we did get roaches during the warmer/wet months. The complex sprays and will spray again upon request, but this didn't solve it for us. Eventually, I put down roach gel and that seemed to help. Other than that, I had a great experience here and this will always be a fond memory of my first apartment.

I have lived at 3 other properties in Athens and the summit is by far the best. Your dollar is stretched far here; The units and amenities are nice, the staff is excellent, plenty of parking, and ample green space for you or your dog. I was actually bummed to have to leave post-graduation.

Looks nice from the outside but on the inside it is cheaply made. I can hear common noises on both sides of my units walls from neighbors. Also management does not effectively communicate when scheduling any kind of maintenance or repair for your unit. Strangers will just walk in and out whenever they like with a poor attitude making it feel as they one has no rights as a renter -- even when doing bedroom repairs. It can be traumatizing to wake up to a stranger yelling and knocking to come into your bedroom without any prior knowledge they will be there. When I moved in a year ago my unit had leaks in the bedroom roof and both bathrooms in addition to a list of problems left from the previous tenant that were not repaired before I moved in. Repairs have not completely fixed the problems. I am about to move out and will update on deposit. I have read reviews and understand I will have difficulty receiving my full deposit back. We shall see.
