Clean, friendly, and easy. We were able 2 book a room quickly. The overnight clerk even helped me find and link my old marriot account to our stay. Breakfest was good. Pool looked nice but we arrived to late to use.

Best location in Athens. Just far enough from town and still have fast access to any location. Very quiet area. Staff incredibly awesome, GM was at desk during check in and allowed me to have room earlier. Self serve breakfast was good. Decent selection each day of stay.

I wanted to share with you that Holly at the front deck is an extraordinary employee. I have been in one form of customer service all of my working life. I have been both an employee and a manager, and she would be someone that I would both employee and retain. Holly went above and beyond helping my husband and I. We live in GA, but I had to find a surgeon who is in my network and this brought us to Athens. We are staying 2 days, as I am recovering from surgery, and Holly graciously helped us get in touch with a local restaurant that has a delivery service. We are not always the most savvy with this service, and she was both kind and understanding. Please let her know how much this was appreciated. Thank you Holly!

The room was clean. It was quiet the first night. That changed due to large youth group attending golf camp. They were making noise up until 3am. They kept the elevators loaded and tied up at peak hours in the morning.

Stayed here at the recommendation of the Wedding venue we had an event at. Old, but clean. Rooms are NOT conducive to more than one person and are evidently meant for a business traveler. Not even a couple both needing to get ready for an event, much less a family with 2 queen beds. One mirror over small sink, no countertop area to put anything. Can not dress while someone else is dressing. No nightstand on both sides of the bed to charge a phone. Hard to find an outlet to even do an extension cord for a blowdryer. Worst of all is that they have thermostats that have a sensor that are triggered when someone is in the room. So if you are out of the room the air (or heat) cuts off and you come back to a room humid and hot! (And the hallways were always Hot!) All of our guests complained about this after being at the wedding late and coming into a hot room! This is why I do not normally stay at a Marriott property.

We were on a long trip. This was the first of many hotels and needless to say I kept comparing every other hotel to our Experience at the Springhill Athens. I needed an accessible room. It was very accessible. It really met all of my mother‘s needs. They were super kind and helpful. They paid attention. Everything was very professional very clean. We had an actual breakfast which we did not have the rest of the trip at the rest of the morning breakfast stations this was just a very good experience.

The hotel is nice, quiet and comfortable. Good hot breakfast. House keeping service only on one of a 3 day stay and I think this is strange.
