This was an awesome experience for my daughter as she was deciding if she wanted continue piano lessons. Her teacher Francis Amore was awesome. He was always patient with her and worked with our family schedule. I was impressed with the progress she made with him in a very short time. When our schedule opens back up this is first place we will return to for her lessons!

We signed our 6yo up for piano lessons during the pandemic (since Zoom lessons mean it doesn't matter where you live, and we are not in Atlanta). It was the right thing to do. SMA has been very supportive and flexible for our family, and Mr. Burdett is always quick to respond to questions. Our son's teacher, Ms. Witherspoon, is absolutely amazing. She's warm, funny, and patient, and has really helped my son's love for and knowledge of music grow.

Our kids are really enjoying their lessons! I don’t get as much push back from them when I remind them to practice. I think they are progressing in terms of have a better technical understanding of music. I can say that this fall semester, our daughter, Quinn, made all A’s in math…which I firmly believe has a correlation to her deeper knowledge of notes and time. Our oldest likes that she is learning a new genre of music and that Mr. BJ enjoys her snarky teen banter. Our son is actually happily playing piano for the first time ever!

I highly recommend Nic Pressley as a piano teacher. His teaching style is focused on both technical skills and theory, and he is very patient and encouraging. He tailors his lessons to each student's individual needs, and his communication skills are excellent. Thanks to his guidance, I have seen significant improvement in my technique and repertoire. Mr. Pressley is also very kind and inspiring, making each lesson a pleasure. Overall, I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and personable piano teacher.

We have been so happy with the sax lessons we have been getting for our 10yr old. I love email reminders about the upcoming lessons and the follow up with lesson notes that her teacher sends. Mr Burdett is very responsive and does a great job running the music academy. I am so glad someone recommended him and his place to us!!
