Science guyz is a game changer. They go just in depth enough so you can really understand the why behind the concepts, but its never overwhelming. I really enjoy learning chemistry, but 1 semester after transferring to uga the chem department here managed to crush that. Using Science guyz through Organic chem was able to reignite some of that enjoyment, and is definitely a huge part of the reason I'm going on now to get a chemistry minor!

Saved my life in Ochem especially. Highly recommend to anyone taking any UGA Chem course. Super structured packets and videos and did pretty well in both courses probably 90% due to the fact that these packets were so structured and well-taught.

Using Science guyz is definitely one of the BEST choices I have made in college!! I have used it for BIO 1, CHEM 1 and 2, and will be continuing to use it in any classes that I can!! I also highly suggest private tutoring with Banks — I couldn’t have done it without him!! Science Guyz is truly a life saver when it comes to succeeding in Chem at UGA and I couldn’t recommend it more!!

Science guys in Athens has been the most helpful resource for UGA science courses. More than enough resources are given such as practice, videos, worksheets, packets, practice tests and so much more. Each question and packet of information comes with a detailed and well explained video that makes difficult required courses so much more manageable. Banks specifically has helped me succeed in Gen chem 1 and 2 and I do not think I would have been able to do so well without his resources and tutor sessions. I highly recommend science guyz to any student taking a science at UGA!

Bought a packet from here for my physics lab final, but I couldn’t watch the video for it until a week after I bought it. Apparently that means I can’t access it any more. No one told me this. It was not said in the email that gave me a link for the video. I called, and the woman I spoke to was honestly kind of rude about it. Be aware of this policy, because they will not make exceptions and will just try to use it to get an extra $30 out of you. Most pointless $30 I’ve ever spent.

Science guyz was a huge part of my study routine this past semester. It gives a lot of structure to organic chemistry studying. Also some of the diagrams and figures were invaluable for learning material. There packets and mock exams were very helpful at getting me comfortable with the types of questions I was tested on. Would highly recommend for anyone that is taking organic chemistry. Simply going to lecture to learn is not enough.

I could not recommend Science Guyz enough. Although I heard great things about Science Guyz, I was hesitant to sign up for a tutoring plan since I was already 2 tests into the semester (there were 5 total tests). I signed up the weekend before my third test, which was on Tuesday, and could not have been more impressed. I got a 102 on my third test after going to office hours once and working through the packets they made. Office hours have been extremely helpful, and I appreciate that they are offered in-person and over Zoom. My tutor, Banks, was knowledgable, professional, and understood how to help me when I would get stuck. Science Guyz made studying for my tests less stressful and more productive. Dec '22 Update: Since writing this review, two semesters have passed, and I have used Science Guyz for CHEM 1211 and CHEM 1212. These classes were not easy, but Science Guyz often felt like the only resource that consistently made sense. I continue to recommend them to anyone struggling in a STEM class, and I plan to purchase their CHEM 2211 plan for the upcoming semester.

Science Guyz helped me a lot this past semester with organic chemistry. I think orgo is tough and can be overwhelming at times but Science Guyz makes it more manageable. I found the workshops helpful because I would use those first before reading the book. Sometimes seeing the material from Science Guyz helped me understand the book chapter. Additionally, I found the exam reviews to reflect what material was really on the exam. I would recommend Science Guyz because the tutors can be really helpful and want to see you succeed.

As a parent, I would highly recommend Science Guyz for your student. My student utilized Science Guyz for general chemistry and biology. Megan and Banks were both incredibly helpful and experts with the material. My student found the videos, chapter notes and reviews to be extremely useful. Banks was very responsive to all of my questions and always willing to help. The class semester plan was a great value.
