We had a fantastic family picnic along with many other families today! Some cooked out on the grills others brought in food. There were plenty of tables and plenty space on the playground for everyone. My brother-in-law who is wheelchair bound was able to play on the playground with his daughter, nieces and nephew!

Beautiful park. Admission is $2 per person. Georgia state parking park pass doesn't work here. The park has numerous trails, restrooms, shelters scattered throughout the park. They have fishing areas, volleyball area, basketball area, new playground. It has a swimming area. The water isn't the most clean but it is water to swim in.

It's very nice, only a few complaints. Way to many spider webs and huge spiders on the playground...hard for kids to enjoy with so many around. Bathrooms were okay but had spiders all over the place to scared to use restrooms. Other than that very pretty and nice park.

We enjoy the safety in the surroundings of Sandy Creek Park lake, play area for our kids and we grill for some events. Fishing for our kids when the y are tired of swimming. I enjoy being able to relax knowing they are pretty safe surroundings.

We absolutely loved this beach. We came into town for the university of Georgia gymnastics camp for the 7 year old. The rest of the family needed something to do during the 9-7 camp hours so we found this place on the map and decided to try it out. It was perfect! There was shade for the dogs and a dog park as well as a small beach with a nearby playground and plenty of trees for a hammock and tables and grills for cooking out.
