Friendly and very personable host (Pam) at this campground. Has covered structures to put tent under so rain not a problem. Electricity and water available at all campsites, however, they offer primitive. Has one side on the creek and other side around small batch of woods so nice rustic type campground. Book early. Bathrooms were really clean. Has a shower. Close to many attractions for hikers and somewhat mountainous. Cameras on property and police are a visible presence on highways around campgrounds in the area.

We sure love this campground! It took me Back in time to my childhood… when campgrounds had big trees and nice sized sites the small pavilion for our river side site was AWESOME!! . The “clubhouse” with games, a fireplace, kayaks and life jackets to borrow, and beautiful plants and flowers planted everywhere made it extra special. My grandson called the clubhouse “the fun zone.”. So many little touches that made our long weekend stay extra special and relaxing. I can’t forget Pam, the amazing camp host, she was super helpful and very kind! We can’t wait to go back 😊

It is a quaint throwback to a 1970s sleep away camp. Pam, the host, was very friendly and responsive, and it was convenient to Tallulah Gorge State Park. But this just isn't for me. It is between two active roads (one is a four lane with lots of truck traffic), so there is constant traffic noise day and night. The river is very slow,-moving and more like a pond where it borders the campground. I stayed in The Appalachian #15... It is just old and dusty. At first it seemed cool to have the fire pit right up against the covered area, but it only took one fire to figure out the smoke often fills that space and gets sucked into the window of the upstairs sleeping area. Just didn't match my expectations from the other reviews and pictures.

I had a flat tire and was in big trouble when I pulled off the road and asked the folks at this campsite for help. I didn’t camp there, but a small community rose up to help me. The owner of the property helped me change my tire while his customers offered their equipment and advice. What a lovely experience that came out of a big problem. I wish I could have stayed around the camp fire with these wonderful people.

We had the perfect trip! The campground was extremely clean and well taken care of. Intimate but well spaced out, we had plenty of space for our group of 6 (three tents) at site #19. Not to mention electricity, easy access to the communal sink, firewood delivery right to our campsite, and HOT SHOWERS!! The scenery was beautiful and between the lovely owners and friendly long-term campers we felt very safe and welcome. We had picked this place over staying at some of the campgrounds closer to Helen GA, where we originally intended to visit, and I’m so grateful we did. It’s only 45 mins out from the popular tourist destination and well worth the scenic drive and escape from the crowded campgrounds that would’ve been closer. This was the perfect place to introduce our friends into the camping hobby for our annual military reunion and we would love to stay again next year! Thank you so much!

I stayed on one of the rent sites that sat along the river, and it was wonderful! It was so nice to have the shelter when it rained, but I also could setup my hammock and just sit and relax with the river right next to me. Across the US, this is probably my most favorite campsite ever. The owners are also wonderful and kind, and take excellent care of the place! I'm really hoping they did okay with Hurricane Helene, which I think went right over them, because I'd love to come back as soon as I can get back out that way!

River cabin was a wonderful place to stay with my son. The cabin is right on the river. We swam, played games, and cooked on the campfire. Tim was super helpful, and a great host!
