I’m a divorce father of 3 growing girls (21,17&13). I take an annual trip with them each year. This year we took a rode trip from Houston to Helen GA. I contacted the owner of this unit and she was just absolutely awesome from when she first picked up the phone. The owner Ms. Thomas made everything very simple from booking to getting situated once we arrived. The unit is clean, smells great and plenty of everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the comfort of the home and it’s proximity to the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub too! That was a treat!! Overall top notch professionalism throughout our experience. My girls absolutely loved it and can’t wait to return!! I recommend this owner and her properties to everyone!!

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire area And I especially enjoyed the welcome sign. Made.us feel very special. We walked to town for dinner We were there during the holidays. Helen.is so beautiful. We enjoyed waking up in the morning and seeing the baby ducks coming up In the yard and expecting to be fed the crackers our host had left in a jar. They seemed so happy This entire experience left an indelible impression on us We will return soon.

The accommodations were great. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day. When I mentioned our anniversary as the occasion for our stay. We had a nice little surprise when we arrived. The customer service and attention to details is where they got me!!!! Great spot to relax and chill.

We stayed in Karen Wilkins' rental cabin in the same complex. Beautiful setting that's within walking distance of all the charm Helen has to offer, and it's right on the Chattahoochee River! Karen's rental has a ground floor bar/rec room that could be used as an additional bedroom with en suite full bath. The main level has a huge bedroom with en suite full bath with whirlpool bath, modern full kitchen with a half bath and spacious living area with TV and gas fireplace. There is a huge deck overlooking the river accessible from both the bedroom and the living room. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms (both have en suite full baths). There is also a small bonus room, or huge closet with a window. I'd think it could also serve as yet another bedroom for a child (could actually fit two single beds). Karen and her team really made us feel like family!

This was a great place for a weekend getaway. The cabin and the scenery is beautiful, and had so much to offer for activities and relaxation. It's also close to town which allowed us to explore and experience everything we wanted. Love the owner, she was responsive and helpful. I would at stay again in a heartbeat.

I have all documents and pictures to back up my review. Horrible experience due to owner’s response and mismanagement. She has changed descriptions and pics of this property to remove the murphy bed as the 3rd bed and replace it with the sleeper sofa. The reviews that mentioned the murphy bed being broken by prior tenant too and alarm issues are now gone. Nice property, on outskirts of town, too far to walk to majority of things. Uses gain detergent in aroma boost blissful breeze and febreze plug ins everywhere, good to know if you have asthma. Alarm in kitchen area under the sink went off constantly and several times in the middle of the night. Toilet broken. Her responses are blaming us or denying it. She posted a retaliatory review of us claiming unclean, didn’t follow rules etc. Thankful we have proof that we left it cleaner than it was when we arrived. No reason for it to be a poor stay other than mismanagement. PS cameras outside filming you. She retaliated also calling me ludacris and wishing god would change my heart, stating they use a different detergent and our reaction (asthma flare, rash etc) was something else Scary how much she lies even when you can disprove her lies. With all these five star reviews, now that I know she reviews the tenant afterwards (which can prevent other owners from renting to you) that explains why she has so many good ones or maybe no one else had the alarm go off constantly and a bed broken. Happy to share pics and messages with prospective tenants.
