Upscale Italian restaurant providing top notch service and delicious food. I was blown away by the attention to detail in every aspect. From service to checkout, we were constantly amazed by the hospitality of the staff. Attention to detail matters and our server was fantastic. I recommend the tiramisu for dessert. It’s a must try! The roasted carrots were deliciously crispy on the outside glazed with a wonderful sauce. The focaccia had a beautiful honey drizzle which was a delicious surprise. Don’t miss out on this amazing restaurant. I’ll definitely be back.

Hands down THE best restaurant in Athens. I have heard tons of raving reviews and decided to try the Family Style Chef’s Tasting myself. 100% worth it- it was SO MUCH food and the waitress/waiters will ask you about your preferences. Our waitress noted that I perked up when she asked about duck so lo and behold, we got a duck entree. Everything was delicious and if my fiancé & i had the ability to, we would’ve finished it. The pizza was absolutely the best one i’ve ever had. The 3 courses also came with a dessert but they gave us an extra one since we were celebrating a birthday. 10/10 recommend if you’re celebrating any special event. The restaurant itself is also decorated very elegantly and felt super high end. Only valet parking on site but it is validated by the restaurant.

This was absolutely the best dining experience I’ve had in a very long time!! For starters the service was spectacular! Our server Leslie was so welcoming and helpful! This was our first time here and she made sure we had a full understanding of the menu and was happy to make sure we had a wonderful experience. She was absolutely the best and so was every staff member we interacted with. The hostess Francesca was so sweet, helpful and welcoming! We were also new to the area of the restaurant and she was very helpful with directions. Our meals were the most amazing food! I highly recommend asking your server for suggestions because the suggestions we were given were the best choices we could let have made without them! Each of our meals were absolutely perfect! I’ve been to many Italian restaurants but this has absolutely become my favorite! I typically do not order desserts at a restaurant unless I’m in the mood but after looking at the dessert menu and having an amazing meal I knew I had to try something! Our server was amazing at helping us make a decision and it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was so gorgeous! I felt like I was transported to Italy or some elite city! From the decor and the vibe of the restaurant you’ll fall in love with the place just stepping foot onto the grounds! I highly recommend for you to visit this restaurant as soon as posible if you want to fall in love with food again! I was so blown away!

I am going to amend this post now. I talked to an employee about my concerns because I want Osteria to be an essential part of our Athens community. She was a wonderful listener, and I love that we were able to have an honest dialogue. More people need to just pick up the phone and talk to each other. Let's go here and support them, so they can be that nice dining experience we want. ----- Previous Post ----------- I have been quite a few times. Brunch today was okay. I feel like it was busy, so that could have affected the quality. The food must have sat under the heat lamp too long as my egg yolk was already not runny. The hash dish is a good call; the dish just needs more Verde and the cheese was not up to temp. My friends sandwich was good. In the meals I have had there, only one or two exhibited the exceeding expectations for me. It is all "good," but shouldn't I be like wowed such as when I go to Seabear or Ex Pat or ZZ? Where I feel the need to post my photo on Social Media to tell others that yes this is something you want to be a part of. I expect a lot from Osteria because of the vibe and ambiance they exhibit. Workers are always nice and hardworking. The people who dine and imbibe there can be pretentious...so that is not always fun, but I ignore. I guess I need to get used to Athens cocktails being overpriced now. It is hard to swallow paying 14 and 18 for one cocktail in my hometown. Were they good 👍😊? Sure. I have also had drinks that were good at ten bucks that allowed people to have more than one. I just don't understand why we need to go so high to offer a quality drink. Mocktails are 12. Osteria, I want you to succeed just like any nice Athens restaurant. I want you to also be accessible to a variety of patrons. You are needed in our town. Just tweak a few things.

Had dinner at Osteria Olio on my last night in Athens, and I couldn’t have picked a better place. From the moment I sat down, the experience felt intentional and thoughtful—thanks to Bekah, who guided the evening with care and professionalism. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu—not just listing dishes, but offering real insight into how each one was prepared, what set it apart, and how the flavors would come together. What stood out most was how she asked the right questions to understand what I was in the mood for, then made recommendations that felt tailored rather than routine. Nothing felt scripted—just genuine attention to creating a memorable experience. Truly one of the highlights of my trip.

Came here for a birthday celebration and everything was top notch from the service to the food. Staff were attentive, incredibly welcoming, and made us feel right at home. This is the best dinner I’ve had in Athens — in fact one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in years. Would absolutely recommend, especially for a special occasion.

Came to stay here at the Revet Hotel. Saw the restaurant downstairs looked solid, made reservations for my birthday dinner. Now I am of age so the bday doesn’t mean much to me ( we didn’t mention it). Ordered the appetizers (Thank god), they gave us the line about the way we should order which we said fine and our waitress asked how we she should bring the food out and we agreed to the order. Well we got the apps, my wife got her pizza (main meal) and then 30 minutes later she comes and asks if she should put my half chicken in now?!?!?!? What?!?!?!? Needless to say, I canceled the meal and they insisted that we misunderstood and when I told them this was our main meal they agreed to comp the meal and such (which is always appreciated) I insisted to pay for what we consumed (which I paid for with a fat tip-I like to be generous to make a point the servers work hard as is they don’t need these things to ruin their day). So be prepared and be patient. (Oh 20 minutes later they brought the meal over for me to eat it after I had already settled and I was walking out. Mgmt your people are awesome just make sure the process is cleaners up.

Had the most incredible date night here in Athens. Food was absolutely impeccable. Super fresh tasting pasta and pizza. Finished off with a delicious tiramisu. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to have dinner somewhere nicer in Athens outside of downtown.

Was told about Osteria Olio as being one of the best restaurants in Athens, so naturally we had to try it! The weather was nice so we sat outside. The service was attentive but apparently we weren’t so attentive since we were next to a table that was *really* into the game that was being shown on the patio tv. A few jump scares later, we settled in so we could focus on each other, lol But back to what you care about. The food! Highly recommend the focaccia - it comes with an olive oil drizzle as all focaccia should, but they took it a step further and served it with a honey drizzle and whipped sweet ricotta. I’ve got a new favorite way to have focaccia! The olives and cheese are also a must. Don’t sleep on these cause the flavors are surprisingly big and you’ll want a second plate. My wife got the Fusili pasta and I went with the Cacio e Pepe. Really pleased with both, even brought some home for a later snack. It was nice to see half bottle options, since my wife and I don’t drink that much. We ended the evening with their bombolini dessert a perfect way to close out. Great service, tasty food, pleasant evening overall! Lived up to the hype for me

We had the most AMAZING dinner here this evening! Every bite was DELICIOUS and the service was the best! Charles was the best server on top of all the others that helped as well. We appreciate how much detail and thought went into our anniversary dinner! It was very special! 🤍
