O House is overall an excellent dorm. Floor to ceiling windows provides a great view of the campus if you live at the higher floors and they let in lots of natural light which is really nice. Location is excellent, dining is literally right down stairs so you can always grab a quick bite or drink. The suite layout of the room is nice and provides privacy and personal space. The in-room sink is one of the best feature of the room. But the elevators tend to break down fairly often and they are really slow compared to other elevators on campus. Every room has auto-closing & auto-locking doors, which is nice so you don't have to lock every time if you leave in a hurry, but the auto-closing feature of the door is loud so you can always hear other people's door closing which maybe a problem at night. Also, the rooms are extremely dusty so make sure you bring a HEPA air purifier and run it 24/7 or else your desk and sink is going to be covered in dust as the AC unit only has a mesh filter that only captures the larger dust particles. The provided bed and furniture is nice. The bed is somewhat firm and comfortable and the desk is large enough for 2 monitors and a laptop. Plus, the built-in closet spaces are spacious though they are not equal as one is a few inches smaller in length than the other but should still provide plenty of storage space.

Super moldy and disgusting. Tiny rooms. Bed is unstable. There is hair waxed into the tile. The thermostat doesn't work so the room is either 82 or 68 degrees. The view would be good, but our window is dirty from the outside so there is always a strange fog obstructing anything we could see. Oglethorpe dining hall is really good though.

Oglethorpe house is pretty nice with only 4 people sharing a bathroom. The walls are basically paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING through the vents. The only concern I have (which is an issue in most of the dorms here) is that the doors slam every time they shut. It can be annoying if someone is coming back from a bar or somewhere and you wake up to the doors slamming. There is more than enough room for a futon, but make sure you bring an air purifier, especially if you have allergies because of the mold and other things. We keep ours running 24/7 now but probably needed it for about 4 hours every other day to keep the room purified. The thermostat only cools to 70 but it definitely feels colder than that for the most part. The desk storage and drawer was enough for me to store all my belongings, but I know some people have issues with storage. If you just reach out to your suitemates and hallmates they'll probably open up and everyone here is very friendly!!
