I've worked with Nile on two separate occasions in the last five years and would recommend him for anyone looking for a kind, compassionate, empathetic and highly professional therapist. I've always found Nile to be honest and straightforward with his assessment of personal challenges I've struggled with. Even if his feedback isn't what I always wanted to hear, it's almost always was what I needed to hear. I would not hesitate to give him a call if you are struggling with life's challenges or just looking for personal growth.

I've worked with Nile for several years now and cannot recommend him enough. He is compassionate, understanding, and meets people where they are. Whether you are going through personal tragedy or need someone to talk through life's problems with, he is a great therapist.

I had a series of extremely stressful years and a childhood with a lot of painful memories that were holding me back on many fronts. Nile really pointed me in the direction with a single sentence. He is to the point and honest. Quick to ask questions and make sure he's following you correctly. Him stating calmly and in plan words that I was pushing myself very hard echoed in my mind for weeks. It sounds simple but looking back that has always been my problem. I'm not saying I am cured of depression, addiction or anxiety but the self realization from thinking about the conversations during the 2 sessions I had with him really helped. As an adult I have a better understanding of my thought processes and fears knowing that they are not only normal but healthy. Big thank you to this guy and if I have trouble navigating my headspace he'd be on the top of my list.

Nile is a wonderful therapist. I've been seeing him for over a year. He is smart, empathic, and usually is able to see me soon after I ask. Someone somewhere wrote a bad review, something about him laughing at them. So I have to set the record straight because he has been wonderful for me. He has a sense of humor, no doubt, but if he sees that trying to help you see the humor in a situation isn't working, he immediately becomes more serious. I always start laughing when he does for the most part. Not that he laughs that much, but some things are pretty funny even if they do feel serious. He is always available to me when I need him. He is a great listener and gives feedback anytime you ask or show interest in hearing it. I highly recommend him.

I’ve been going to see Nile for about a year, and have always found it to be a great experience. He’s very patient and realistic in his approach, and does his best to make scheduling easy. His office location is also very convenient for those living in midtown, and parking is never difficult.

Nile made me feel unheard and insignificant. From the moment the meeting began, he seemed aloof and cold. I was shocked by how little he seemed to care. As someone with anxiety, he confirmed big fears I had about getting hurt in the vulnerability of therapy. The meeting reduced me to tears. He concluded the meeting by telling me that although he didn't know me, I probably hadn't ever experienced anything horrible in my life other than my self-made problems and that many people have worse off lives than me. (Seriously!) It was a really embarrassing experience for me and I normally don't write reviews for anything, but I don't want other people to feel the way he made me feel.
