I was a member from 2004 to 2010 and it is a great church, pastor Larry Forte is great and he is real and the congregation is great, they welcone everyone with open arms. I moved is the reason i no longer attend if I still lived in Athens I would still be going. If anyone is looking for a good church home New Freedom is one of the best.

A church that compromises Hoy Scripture and desecrates the clear Biblical teaching of PRO LIFE. Raphael Warnock has this church in large support for him. Imagine…a CHRISTIAN CHURCH that supports a woman’s right to BARBARICALLY kill her child…a living, breathing creation from God. ANY Church that is okay with Warnock and Pro-Choice is an abomination to the Lord Jesus Christ. It mocks a Holy God and deceived it’s gullible/sinful/selfish followers. Harsh, but the truth. And someone needs to speak it!!!!!

This is a small, mostly black church, with a mostly adult congregation. Pastor Fort is an excellent teacher, and his material comes straight from the Word. You will learn a lot and sing to God. That's what I come for.
