I love coffee, but it does not love me. My husband brought home a bag of Mr Bill’s coffee from the Winterville Farmers market and said he was told this one was stomach safe. I risked a cup (so smooth, and it barely needed sugar!) and darn if he wasn’t right! I’m so grateful to have my little indulgence back without feeling dreadful after. ❤️

We visited a local restaurant (Galloping Galette) for brunch yesterday and the coffee was AMAZING! When we inquired about the coffee brand we were told by the owner that it was from “Mr. Bill’s Beans” (a local roaster from Athens offering organic and delicious coffee). So we will be heading ASAP to bring bags of this delicious, bold (but not at all bitter) home with us! Hubby is a retired Marine so we also love that Mr. Bill also served. Tried a bag of the Haitian Blue Mtn beans. Most eggzelent! The coffee is a bold roast of a richly flavored washed process bean. A few friends tasted the coffee with me. All were enthusiastic about this product. The price is more than reasonable, $19 for a full pound of beans. Contact the proprietor directly if you can't get to the retail locations he lists. He will try to work with you. What a find!!!!! Frank

I bought the Marigold beans (freshly roasted with an amazing smell!) and made an espresso. The flavor was rich and smooth and not bitter at all - best espresso taste I’ve ever had by far! Would 100% recommend buying!

I met Mr. Bill at the Winterville Farmer's market a couple of weeks ago and sampled his organic Marigold blend. It was delicious! I would have bought a bag of coffee right then, but he didn't have a grinder with him. I went to the Filipino restaurant in Winterville a couple of days later where they sold his coffee beans and grinded them for me. I've been drinking it for a week now, and it doesn't upset my stomach like regular coffee does.
