We stayed at the Mountain View Lodge for a friends reunion/getaway weekend and it was an amazing experience! There were plenty of rooms for everyone and it was so welcoming and clean. You can definitely tell the owner, Teresa, puts a lot of love into the place. The kitchen was stocked with every tool or gadget you might need (including a stand mixer, which came in super handy for dessert one night). There was plenty of firewood and we spent many hours out back by the fire looking at the stunning Georgia fall foliage. Our group went on a hike on the Unicoi trail which you can access just a ways down the drive from the lodge. The lodge is the perfect distance from town - you can spend time exploring Helen or just stay curled up in the lodge with friends and family. I will absolutely be coming back to Mountain View Lodge the next time I’m in Helen.

If you are looking for a perfect spot for a family reunion, look no more. This gorgeous lodge provides a spacious layout with around 10 suites. Each suite includes full bath and a private balcony/porch. The hot tub was delicious after hiking the beautiful Mountains. Just a quick walk and you find yourself in Georgia's Alpine village full of cafes and quaint shops. Lots a fun activities for all ages. Our hosts were very gracious and provided helpful tips for places to go etc. I cannot say enough about this lodge, it is truly magnificent.

The best lodge in Helen!!! Spacious with a breathtaking view & a short walk to the heart of downtown Helen. This lodge has more than enough room for the entire family. You won’t even want to leave the lodge because there’s so much to do. Sit around the fire and enjoy the Mountain View or go to the game room for a round of pool! Kitchen is perfect for those who prefer to cook on vacation! The hosts were so attentive and friendly, they have great recommendations for things to do in the Helen area!! I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Mountain View lodge from start to finish!

This lodge was far above and beyond what I expected and my expectations were already set pretty high. The lodge was immaculate upon arrival and you could tell everything was freshly cleaned and sanitized. The views were amazing and being literally 60 seconds from downtown Helen was epic. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to do amazing dinners with ample dining space to handle over 20 ppl comfortably. The whole process from booking to checking out was effortless and flawless. Our entire family and extended family enjoyed each room and its unique theme, along with the hammock, tree swing, rocking chairs and balconies looking at the mountains! My family and I will be repeat guests/visitors for as long as possible!!

Stayed here with my family, and I can promise you it's the absolute best place to stay in Helen ga. If you want to feel miles away, but close enough to walk to Town, then this Lodge is for you! Warm and welcoming. My family loved having their own space and the Lodge makes you feel at home. The views are spectacular and you will definitely enjoy the back deck with the firepit. I will be staying here from now on because I loved the Lodge, the location, and the Owners are amazing people! You won't be disappointed!!!

This cabin was beautiful, the view of the backyard overlooking Helen was amazing! There was always something to do in the cabin whether it was playing pool or sitting by the fire. The house was very clean and is well kept. Would highly recommend!!

Had a trip with many rescue professionals around the USA. This place was perfect for our group of 17. A fire, hot tub, floating balcony, space galore, couldn’t ask for a better place in an amazing town. Overlooking Mt Yonah was icing on the cake
