Husband stayed 4 nights. Many items in disrepair. Didn’t want to give breakfast. Parking lot trashy. Bed and AC were good. Would not stay there again

Smooth Check-in, friendly staff, and ample parking, Rooms are decent for the price, me and my husband stayed here. The breakfast area is small with no seating, offering bread, bagles, muffins, oatmeal, yogurt and coffee pretty limited. Good for a budget stay near UGA. 3.5/5

We woke up this morning and found a homeless person in the hallway, passed out, with a phone charging on a hallway outlet?? The front desk staff person was no more than 50 feet away around a corner, laying on a lounge chair in the area of the front door, eating food, which he left his garbage on the lounger when he walked out the front door. The coffee was ice cold as well at the sparse breakfast bar. The grounds are littered with trash! Mostly trash from the hotel, such as food wrappers from the breakfast bar and construction debris from the hotel. As far as clean rooms??? I found 2 bars of used soap in the shower, and mold growing as well! The hotel appears new or recently remodeled, so the issues clearly fall on the management and staff and the lack of caring for the guests or property!!!

My stay at Microtel Inn was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Close to dining and shopping...it was much nicer than I expected at a good price. No complaints or problems.
