What an amazing cabin! Every detail was well attended to, the hosts were easy to communicate with and the setting was absolutely gorgeous! They even put a bday message for my husband on the scrabble board on the wall! We definitely hope to be back (maybe when it’s more than 22 degrees in the morning so we can actually sit outside on the beautiful patio and listen to the river!)

We stayed at Sumview for a weekend the end of April. The house is great-easily accommodated five adults. And the view was breathtaking, both from the main level and the basement. The main level had a decent size kitchen and plenty of seating to socialize. Would recommend!

The location of Laurel Glade is perfect. The town is a short drive away for groceries and other activities. Overall our stay was quite pleasant even with the mishaps. The size and layout of the house was great for social distancing. I arrived on August 27th and checked out on August 30th. Cleanliness of the property was less than desirable, not clean as advertised as It had been tidied not cleaned. There was visible dirt on the kitchen counters and dust within the glass cabinet. Cobwebs were in every corner and on the dining room light fixture. Bugs had been killed on the walls where no one wiped the and multiple bug traps full of dead bugs that had not been replaced. There was a broken chair at the dining room table that no one bothered to replace and/or remove. The downstairs bathroom also had not been cleaned well and had a noticeable stench of sewage. A problem arose in the bathroom downstairs that resulted in having to call the property management, Majestic Mountain Getaways. At first the owner Greg Langston responded on initial call. Thereafter there was a breakdown in customer service addressing the problem multiple calls and emails to Greg unanswered. On August 29th at 10:05pm, I sent an email as well as called the emergency number to advise when I stepped out the shower in the downstairs bathroom, the toilet was leaking. Greg asked me to turn off the water valve on the toilet and I did as advised. Greg then advised he was not going to send anyone out to check the toilet leak and turning off the water from the toilet would be ok for the time being. We placed towels down for the leak. When I went downstairs at 1:15am I noticed the water was now overflowing from the toilet seat and was heading down the hallway, into the second bedroom including that bedroom closet. I called Greg Langston again at 1:20am to advise even though the water was turned off the toilet was gurgling and overflowing from the top of the bowl of the toilet and the bathtub. He advised he would call a Plummer and call me back. When he called back within 5 mins. he advised a Plummer would come in the morning. When I talked to him at 1:20am he told me not to use any water for the remainder of the stay…he stated the septic tank probably needed to be pumped. I emphasized ‘’no water’’ he said no water. I will note that no one called, nor did I receive a call in the morning from Greg to see how things were going. For someone to pay money and not use water is hard. To use the bathroom and not flush is unsanitary and demeaning. Furthermore, we had to vacate the room downstairs and sleep on the sofa because the sewage downstairs was giving off a foul order and the room had standing water. To stay somewhere and get on the road without a shower and try to find a location to freshen up on the road when so many locations restrooms aren’t open because of COVID is stressful. We planned this vacation to get a change of scenery from being quarantined for five months to be relaxed not to be stressed. With everything that happened during our last night we still honored our commitment of restoring the home back to its original condition per the rental guidelines.

Rented a private home, Lazy Daze, and it was a great experience. The house had a great layout and when one unexpected maintenance issue arose, they sent someone immediately over to take care of it like it never even happened. We will definitely be using this company again!

Must and will stay again!!!! Wow! So peaceful and the views out of our windows and from the porches…why would I want to go anywhere else!?! But we did and enjoyed a lot of close by restaurants and local merchants. Had we known how lovely the setting was we would have planned a longer stay. The cabin has everything we needed or else a store was literally right down the street for tiny things we forgot.

I can not say enough about Majestic Mountain Getaways. I have stayed in multiple of their cabins and am never disappointed. Always impressed by the views, the cleanliness, and the comfort of each cabin. This past weekend I asked the owner Greg, if there were any cabins close to the venue I was getting married and sure enough he provided me a list of all the cabins that were close. My family was very impressed with the 3 cabins we rented and Greg was very helpful when we had questions. We will continue to use Majestic Mountain Getaways every time we travel to the North Georgia mountains. Thank you Greg and the Majestic Mountain team! You all are the best

My family of nine spent 3 nights at Bear Track Falls cabin in Blue Ridge, Ga, July 1-4, 2021. This cabin was perfect for us in every way! Everything we needed or even thought about needing was provided! The cabin was very spacious with wonderful outdoor spaces and beautiful screened in porches with rocking chairs—one porch had a large hot tub and a swing—another, off of the living room/kitchen area had an outdoor dining table. This cabin was very isolated but only 2 miles to downtown Blue Ridge. The cabin was spotlessly clean! Super important to me! I cannot recommend this cabin enough. Wish we were there right now!

We loved staying here with our friends for a couples weekend get-away. The hot tub was large and very nice with the same amazing views as from the main-level’s deck. Everything was very updated and clean, with a more modern cabin feel, versus too rustic. I would just highly recommend taking an SUV and getting there before dark the first time, as the last couple turns are sharp and very steep. Definitely would stay here again!

Our family had a wonderful getaway to this property and found the peace and quiet we were looking for! We spent hours on the screened porch listening to the sound of the creek while enjoying meals and playing games. The home is well stocked with toiletries and kitchen equipment. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept great! We loved the privacy that the property offered and really enjoyed unplugging for a few days!

The cabin was perfect for our family. The kids loved the game room and hot tub. The views were beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook any meal. I have no complaints at all. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest and would definately rent again.
