My provider is wonderful. Lifestance administrative personnel are not patient friendly. Their administration repeatedly makes changes that do not benefit the patient. Their admins want to call you and tell you that you have to use their new procedures. They made it clear a lot of patients don’t want to use that system. Their new system isn’t a simple as check-in. If you don’t use their system, they will call you to harass you to use it. They don’t want to listen to any feedback that would make it better and easier to use as a patient.

I truly hope no one else has the experience I had with this provider. My first appointment was canceled without my knowledge. I then called to make a new appointment (as I was not able to reschedule online). 5 minutes into this new appointment, both the provider and I realize they sent me to a therapist instead of (the asked for) psychologist. The appointment was promptly ended and no care was received. Fine. Mistakes happen. I then received a $200 bill. I called the billing department, and went through the proper channels. Doesn't matter. Still had to pay it. I did not receive the care. I did not want that type of care. I had waited almost two months for a Telehealth appointment I didn't actually want.

I had a really terrible experience here. I’ve never sought out Psychiatric assistance before my appointment with LifeStance and I’m severely disappointed by my treatment. I expected an even handed assessment of my personal lived experience, possible diagnosis, and medication based specifically on that diagnosis. My provider, Enyang Etengeneng, was deeply alienating. When I shared my personal reasons that lead me to seek diagnosis and medication based treatment, I was dismissed as “that is for therapy.” When I discussed parental reasons for my mental health struggles I was subjected to a 30 minute lecture on “respect.”I was given no diagnosis, and prescribed medication solely for my symptoms bereft of context. This felt deeply disrespectful as someone seeking care for mental health and makes me wary of the whole field.

I had a deeply upsetting experience during a required in-person appointment at LifeStance Health in Athens, GA with Nurse Practitioner Enyang Etengeneng. I was referred for a one-time visit to comply with policy, as my ongoing care is provided virtually by my regular psychiatrist. As someone living with complex physical and mental health conditions — including significant anxiety and agoraphobia — I expected professionalism, compassion, and clinical neutrality. Instead, I was met with a cold, impersonal demeanor. The practitioner remained physically distant behind her computer and posed sensitive questions with little regard for emotional impact. After I calmly clarified details related to my treatment history, she repeatedly returned to the same topic with judgmental and personal commentary. When I politely asked to move on, she accused me of being combative, abruptly ended the session, and discussed the encounter with front desk staff within earshot of other patients. This resulted in a severe panic attack in the waiting area — my first in a public setting — which caused significant emotional distress and a major setback in my recovery progress. I am taking formal steps to report this experience through the appropriate channels: • A formal complaint has been submitted to LifeStance Health’s internal leadership. • A report is being filed with the Georgia Board of Nursing regarding the provider’s conduct. • I am submitting a HIPAA complaint due to the public discussion of my private appointment. I share this review not out of anger, but out of concern for other patients navigating trauma, disability, or mental health challenges. Everyone deserves care that is respectful, nonjudgmental, and professionally delivered. I sincerely hope LifeStance takes this opportunity to reflect and respond appropriately to prevent future harm.

Always have a great experience with Lifestance. It's easy to book appointments and everyone I work with is very friendly, professional and genuinely concerned about my well being.

The atmosphere is so peaceful. As soon as you walk through the door my counselor was babbing very nice and patient and the young lady at the front desk with was very helpful about picking out. A therapist for me highly recommend

The NP was super helpful, shared some good knowledge and really listened to what I needed to say.

Dr. Lang is amazing. Office and Billing not so much. Left provider because of their continued screw ups on co pays. Shame as Dr. Lang was the ideal therapist for me.

I’ve complimented on this company a few times and I’m still standing firm that they are the best company. I’ve been with them a little over a year and the confidence I have in my therapist, Cynthia Edins is second to none. She is very honest with me and pushes me when I need it. She and my NP, Jessica Clarkwork well together and I feel as though I’m making progress.

I'm new, but so far it's been a positive experience.
