Lauren was recommended to me by a friend and I couldn't have been more pleased with the help that I received with planning our trip to Disney World over Thanksgiving week, which is typically one of the busiest times of year in the park. Lauren woke up early to book our character dining reservations etc. at several of the more sought after restaurants on the property with 100% success! Lauren was also very diligent about finding the best deals and she secured a lower price for our hotel and park passes with a free park-hopper add-on when one became available. She also set up our Disney app and helped us learn to navigate through it. Most importantly, I found Lauren to be very responsive and patient. I usually book my own vacations, but I felt a little overwhelmed with all of the intricacies of booking a successful Disney world trip for my family. When you're spending so much money for a trip, you want it to be perfect, and our trip was spectacular!!! I really appreciated that Lauren gave me information in a way that wasn't overwhelming and the recommendation guide that she provided to aid in using the lightning lanes/virtual queue was extremely useful during our trip. We were able to ride every single ride and see every show that we wanted, with the exception of Guardians to the Galaxy, and that was admittedly our own fault for missing the virtual queue...twice!! Don't hesitate to use Lauren as she will certainly do an amazing job. It's an absolute no-brainer since Disney is charging you the same amount to book with them directly or to use a planner. Why wouldn't you use Lauren to make your life much easier?

Since becoming friends with the Internet a couple of decades ago, I had not used a travel agent to help plan a vacation. This time around, I asked myself “Why not?” given that it doesn’t add to the final cost, and that a travel agent is likely to have established relationships with hotels and tour companies, and perhaps better access as a result. We started our quest with a fairly specific idea regarding when and where we planned to travel. Initial efforts produced nothing but frustration. The hotel we had in mind (RIU Palace Antillas in Aruba) had very limited availability. Those windows did not align with flights that made sense for us. After struggling to piece something together, we decided to see if Lauren Gober would have better luck than me. After all, she does this for a living and was apt to be better at planning than I am. Lauren patiently worked through options, landing on a time slot that was a little different than my initial search criteria. And sure enough, when I looked at available bookings for the same time frame, the hotel’s website showed no availability, confirming my suspicion that Lauren had better access than I did. Lauren put together a nice proposal, detailing exactly what was covered. The frustrations that I experienced trying to piece this together evaporated. Lauren went above and beyond to provide timely communication updates. She walked me through the necessary steps required to visit Aruba, which had changed since our last visit. For instance, Aruba now requires a fee and specific documentation beyond a passport to enter. Who knew? I’m a fairly competent adult, but I appreciated the detailed hand-holding, nevertheless. It was helpful that Lauren provided a personal travel itinerary which included helpful tips for items to pack. Lauren actually changed my mind (without even trying) with respect to the value added by a quality travel agent. I would recommend using a professional for future travel plans in general, and using Lauren specifically. Thanks for helping us experience a wonderful vacation.
