This was our first KOA stay and we were pleased with the experience. We had a pull-through, lake-view site with FHU for our 37 Class A with toad. The sewer had a bit of an uphill slant so we used the dump station on our way out. It's in good repair and easy to use. We were here during a really cold snap with high winds so we didnt use the deck and firepit that came with our site which was a shame because they seemed like fun. This campground is an eclectic mix of permanent party and transients - all shapes and sizes, although we were among the larger rigs. It's about 5 miles off I-20 but easy in/out, even for a one-night stop.WiFi was strong.

Went to stay in a caboose. Did not disappoint! We had a great time. Grounds were clean, staff friendly. Definitely recommend. This is glamping, not an airbnb. If your going to stay in a train car, bring everything you would need to camp( except dishes, silverware, ( for four) pots and pans ).

Not a bad place in the middle of no-where. We stayed on our way home. Not bad nice lake. Place needs maintained. Near us a light buzzed loudly all day and night. Workers just drove right by it. It’s a nice place though with nice staff. Two pools seemed nice.

Camping location was beautiful with so many amenities! Our 2 year old had a blast from walking the goats, to swimming and karaoke. This place has it all! Staff is amazing, sweet and go over the top. The staff member who assisted us with the goats at the nature site (Emily I think and her daughter) brought a kids craft bag to our site because my daughter missed the craft time. And Scott with Saturday night karaoke was so much fun! We will definitely be back!

This was our first-ever KOA experience, so we were excited to check it out. The location on the lake was nice and relaxing, and our site itself was pretty decent with a solid hookup. Staff was friendly and helpful when you got ahold of them. That said, for the price, we expected a bit more. The reservation process was frustrating — I had to call four times to fix our dates, which took away from the overall experience. The bathhouses were not well maintained, the outdoor lighting at our site kicked on way too late, and kids driving golf carts wild all over the place made it feel a little chaotic. The biggest downside: no bug spraying. We ended up with chigger bites our first night — not the kind of souvenir we wanted. We wanted to love it, but honestly, it didn’t live up to the KOA reputation we were hoping for.

First of all, lady put us in 30 amp spot after she was told 50. In the hottest part of the summer we needed both units and that won’t happen with 30 amp. Also the after hours host finally called me back (we were in transit to location), and …

Nice size campground but its so run down. Our rv site was littered with cigarette butts and other people's dog poo. The wooden railings are broken. They advertise 2 pools but only 1 is open. They other pool is closed, and looks like it hasn't been used in a long time judging by the shade of green. The garden area looks like it would be nice, if it was taken care of. Nothing was open except the laundry. Loved feeding the Goats! The train theme with rail cars and caboose cabins could really draw campers to the park but the long term sites full of years worth of junk are a real deterrent. The beach front area on the lake was beautiful. We had no idea it was located so close to Lake Oconee Parkway just 5 miles, with tons of restaurants and shopping. This could be a really nice RV Park/Resort with right management.

Not up to usual KOA par. This campground is in a beautiful location on Lake Oconee. Staff is very friendly and helpful and sites were adequately maintained.. Second pool was closed for repairs. There’s a beautiful well maintained beach …

Have been coming here for 6 years now.We are members of Coast to Coast. And had been able to stay here for $10 because of that.Well this time here this past week, came in and was given a spot,101 spot So we drove down to check the spot given us Limbs, all the sight, grass not cut,and our door would open to a mud puddle. So displeased with this sight, went back to the office. The so-called manager,Virginia told my husband that since we were Coast to Coast members there were only 5 sights for these members. We were not happy at all.We had always been given a "lake front sight" The five sights assigned to Coast to Coast ,and I quote"are the least desirable sights in the park.If we had wanted to stay where we always stayed we had to pay the FULL KOA price. This is no more than extortion!!!She was very Rude.On the park it self,it has gone down considerably, grass is growing on the patios decks are falling apart, needs painting, roads are deplorable.Coast to Coast BEWARE of this!they will put you in a sight that is a mud puddle. My husband has already drafted a letter to Coast to Coast and TRA.This so called Resort is off our list. If There was a Zero on stars this is what I would give them.I would also like to add to this review, that there are a lot of permanent trailers on the sight, and they have junk around them They pretty much have let everything run down, not the pretty "resort it once was. They strictly cater to Travel Resorts members. There were several nice sights open with decks that we used to stay at,they were open the whole time we were there. And gave us one of the worst sight
