Great lunch! The jerk chicken was delicious, and came with cornbread and iced tea. $16 small or $18 large- this one is a large. Will be back!

This was my first time visiting here. Sandy was my attendant and she was so very kind and welcoming. She allowed me to taste test and view all the food before making my choice. Sandy was very patient and informative. I chose the jerk …

Great food! I had the oxtails, Mac and cheese and cabbage. Wonderful flavors. Good spice level, not too hot. Overall, I highly recommend if you want authentic Jamaican.

Listen, the food is oh-so-good, and the restaurant was well-kept. However, the customer service is subpar. Think this each time you go, “people will go back to a restaurant for great customer service WITH subpar food.” For me, experience is everything, and I can’t fathom going back for the latter. The five stars are for the food. Try ATHENS Kelly’s Jamaican cafe for fantastic customer service and finger-licking good Jamaican food!

I'm sorry that I don't have photos. As many times as I've been here, I should 🤦🏾♂️. This is HANDS DOWN, my favorite Jamaican restaurant! I've tried several (believe me), but I love Kelly's. I've been coming here since I can remember and the food still tastes the same. It's not all of the fancy bells and whistles, just good food. These days, that's definitely a blessing. So if you like good Jamaican food, definitely give them a try. Yes, the jerk is very spicy, the cabbage is spicy, the squash n zucchini is spicy, and no, the mac n cheese is not spicy. Just an FYI lol.

Hands down the best Jamaican cuisine in Athens! The food is truly authentic, and Kelly’s is definitely a staple in Athens! I hope College Gameday will check it out when they pull up for a game one weekend!

My boyfriend and I tried Kelly’s for the first time today and WOW! We were so impressed. We are quite the foodies and love to try new things and this place definitely falls into my top 10. We shared a large plate of jerk wings which were perfectly spicy and juicy and fell right off the bone. The rice was spiced and delicious and covered in jerk chicken gravy. The Mac n cheese was also amazing. The corn bread was so moist and sweet it was almost like cake! I’ll definitely be back and encourage everyone to try this place out.

A bit pricy for what you get, but my golly is this fantastic food. I got the jerk chicken with rice and plantains. The lady who gave me my food was understanding of the fact that I'm white and bad with accents. Plus it comes with tea and cornbread. 10/10 would come to Athens for this again

Been Eating here for over 20 yrs. I use to see Kelly at 5:30 am when I opened up the coffee shop I worked at and then he would work all day until he closed it down. Much respect for this man. Best Mac and cheese in the city. Green’s are better than grandmas. If the jerk is too hot try the curry chicken. The curry is turmeric based and has no spice. It’s my favorite. The “bread”, dear lord get out of here.

I’ve been sampling the fare at Kelly’s for years now. Let me just tell you ~~ one of the best and authentic Jamaican cuisine I’ve ever had. I’ve never had a bad meal. Their pattys are phenomenal. My personal favorite is jerked pork. And, to boot, their portion sizes are excellent. Oh, and the owners are SUPER good people.
