I buy 5 lb bags of coffee at a time. Always found employees exceptional. I have been going for over 2 yrs. Complainers probably their nature

Stopped by Jun 20th and have to say I never met a more condescending and disdainful barista in my life. He felt it was his duty to scold me for not reading the menu on the wall when I placed my order (meaning he actually had to explain how to order bulk beans instead of pre-packaged) and then was horribly put out when I asked for the wifi password (which he reluctantly gave and did not work). And, while sitting there, he felt it important to smugly tell the next customer how much he actually hated Mormons and only had on a BYU insignia to mess with people. I'm not a Mormon, but it was really tacky. The location is closed soon for the summer (A/C can't keep up) but if they continue to employ such people they shouldn't bother. Pity, because I always used to make a point of dropping by when in town to get beans.

It would be a great place if you could ever be sure if they were open or not. Just stopped on a Tuesday, 2:34pm. Closed. Doors locked, lights on, cars outside. This has happened 10-12 times to me. I REALLY try to do business with Jittery, but I guess I'll have to become a 1,000 Faces customer.

Just moved to the area and had to travel an hour to check this place out. Hit Trader Joe's while in Athens as well, so worth the drive. Got Wake and Bake and Traveling' Joe, and both are fresh and rich tasting. Will make this trip once a month for sure! Shout out to Patrick for his help. Positive, smiling guy who makes you feel like a regular. Definitely put this place on your to do list. We visited the roaster, not the coffee shops.

No one makes a mocha like JW! And the roaster is full of art, things to buy, and nice people! Best coffee in town thanks to the best toaster, Charlie Mustard!

Coffee roasting is a hot and complicated process but Charlie makes it sound pretty straightforward. Great coffee and a good place to see a master at work.

I love that Jittery Joe’s services walk in clients out of their distribution center. It’s awesome & has great character! Everyone that works in this location is always super friendly. Other reviewers have knocked this location for not seating etc, that’s not really the intention of this location as it’s more less their distribution hub, not really the JJ location to visit if you want to hang around. But it’s definitely worth the visit! Made me the best shot in the dark, thanks JJ!

My friends scheduled a coffee tasting for my birthday this month and it was such a fun group experience. One of their friendly and knowledgeable staff members guides your group through tasting several coffees without revealing what they are, and it's so fun to try to identify the notes with your friends. At the end they reveal what all the coffees were, and I found a new favorite coffee this way. Charlie even gave me a delicious jar of local Kuhlbee Honey as a birthday gift and I put it on everything now. After tasting, there are used books and local art to browse or buy while you enjoy a cup of your favorite - you won't feel rushed out the door. I will definitely be scheduling another tasting in the future, and I recommend this activity for any small group of coffee drinkers.

GPS showed me this facility, I have been to many JJs. Apparently, this is where all the beans ship out to the stores. but THEY do make a great! cup of Joe here.
