Visited here today to get some work done. This is a nice location of Jittery Joe's with a lot of space to work. I got there around 10am on a Sunday and barely anyone was there, but the tables started to fill up around 12pm. The music was a little loud, but it was tolerable with noise canceling headphones. I got a regular drip coffee which was satisfactory as well as a poppy seed discount muffin and a parfait. I would come back to this location again mainly because it is spacious. They also have free wifi and a few outlets if you get a space near a wall.

Wow. Hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Walked in ready to do business, and instead got talked down to the entire time by the Asian guy working the counter. Super rude, super condescending—like I was bothering him just by showing up. I get that everyone has bad days, but there’s a difference between being busy and just plain disrespectful. This was the latter. No effort to help, no basic courtesy, just attitude from start to finish.

Excellent cup of drip coffee, which is rare in this town. Perfectly brewed and sweetened. My 12 year old said the hot chocolate was the best beverage he has had in Athens. High praise from a kid who LOVES hot chocolate. THANK Y’ALL!

Mostly use the drive-through, but the inside is nice too. Staff is always so lovely, even at the end of a long day. Never had an issue with wrong order, and my girl definitely appreciates a good pup cup after we finish errands.

I frequent this jittery joes, as well as the watkinsville location. For years it has been my favorite and go to shop, lately quality control of the cups have been my biggest issue. And the reason for writing this review on 10-19 is due to the cashier handing me my scolding hot large coffee for it to spill all over my pants, arm, and my brand new t-shirt which is now completely ruined. As I thought maybe I was being careless, I attempt to put the lid back on, to notice the lid does not even fit the cup and was just sitting on top. I pull right back around, showing the cashier only her for the quickly apologize and tell me how they have been trying to tell the owner it’s a problem and it’s needs to be fixed asap. They were very nice to try and help me with paper towels and cleaner, but that defeats the purpose of a now ruined outfit, a ruined day, possible burns, and stickiness covering the entire driver side of my vehicle. Not that I was looking for a refund, but spending almost 20$ I was not offered a refund or any compensation, and was handed the coffee with a new lid on it.
