I have lived here for 3 years now and I love it because it is on the bus line, within walking distance from my work and the apartments are big. The area is also not noisy. It is mostly young adults, so no crazy undergrad students. There are some cons though - the apartments are old, so problems arise. If you have a bad landlord, it can be unpleasant. It is also very dark, especially downstairs. I really wish it was brighter. Only one of the rooms is nice and bright

This place is great! I love staying here, and it's in such a great location! I have a UGA bus stop in my backyard and a Athens Transit bus stop in my front yard. And if I ever need to walk to campus I can (biking would be better though) The room sizes are also HUGE, and I have more space then I know what to do with! Theres also a pretty decent sized backyard for our dog, and the IM field trails are so close, we can walk there. The rent is also extremely cheap for how good of a location and how big it is, so I highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice 2 bed, 2 and 1/2 bath!

I think the Jamestown North apartment I lived in was great, aside from the german cockroaches + rats I encountered. As I recall, I called and emailed the rental company, Rent Athens, five times and they eventually said they wouldn't do anything. I bleached the house + borax + home defense + always kept it clean, but nothing really helped. Never again. This entire review is my opinion.

Definitely don't waste your money. Non-existent maintenance, crime-ridden area, drug deals in the parking lot, etc.
