Went here on 12 May had already booked a room. States that the hotel has been remodeled and redone and it has not, maybe a couple of rooms have been remodeled, but for the most part, the hotel rooms are nasty. They’re covered in roaches the beds look nasty. I wouldn’t even dare lay my head on them. It was on the top floor. The window to the hotel room was busted and when my mom and I walked in there, I wanted to throw up. It was so nasty. If you’re going to run out a hotel, I don’t care if it is reasonable prices you need to at least make it a clean environment for families, not a roach infested, bedbug infested hotel. I requested my money back and left immediately

The rooms are a little more expensive than what they should be. We checked the end. It was the only room left. It wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been, the bathroom and shower were absolutely disgusting. The fat was super nice. Just wish the ring had been at least half of that but I guess you’re paying more for location that’s the way I’m gonna go about saying it anyway.

It's unfortunate that the homeless population have nowhere to go...so put into a situation where you're paying $65/night to stay in a one room with your family. I went to visit someone who stays there...& practically impossible to save at that rate.

I will start by saying for a cheap overnight stay, this place is fine. To manage your expectations, though, here are some details. The lady who checked me in was very friendly and helpful even though I arrived fairly late. The room was not terribly clean and smelled strongly of smoke even though it was clearly marked as a non-smoking room. Only one of the three lamps worked. It was very cold when I entered, but the heater warmed it up fairly quickly. Walls were thin and noise from adjacent rooms was audible. Towels were small and scratchy, but the shower had plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable, although I didn't get under the covers. Like I said, fine for a cheap overnight stay.

I had a reservation at another hotel which turned out to be dirty and very disgusting. I called this hotel and the owner assured me their rooms were very clean and even offered to show me some rooms to see if it was up to standard. At this point, we were exhausted and hungry and just wanted to relax. The room was Exactly what we needed. They were very clean, nice and tidy. I was grateful to find a room within our budget at the last minute. Will definitely stay here again! Just because the price is low doesn’t mean you can’t get a quality room.

I got a room at this place after evacuating Charleston for hurricane Matthew. This was the only place I could find that would take my animals. When I first checked in and got to the room I noticed the two lamps didn't work, so I went to the office about it and I was given two light bulbs. That fixed one lamp but the cord on the other lamp had been cut. The room was so dirty if you walked bare foot you would have to take a shower, and if you used the shower you didn't get clean because it was so dirty and had mold on the shower curtain. There was marker on the walls in the bathroom and kitchen, bugs all over the place, and looked like the door had been kicked in at some point. Never felt safe enough to leave my animals alone in the room. I know this place is only 50 a night but I stayed in cheaper places that weren't this bad. I would have gone somewhere else if anything had been available. I posted pictures of the room so people know I'm not exaggerating.

Staff was extremely nice, but the motel was pretty run down. We got a non smoking room, but that didn't make a difference. There were cigarette burns all over the sheets, and mysterious patches in the cover. The fire alarms had also been completely removed from the wall/ceiling. Well we found them. There was a weird beeping from the bed and we discovered that someone had stuffed the alarms between the mattresses. All in all an okay place for saving money, but you'll probably find some fun surprises.

I'm not picky at all about hotels and I never write reviews but omg was this place NASTY. The AC heat unit didn't work, roaches covered the place, other guests were screaming and fighting all night and the smell of drugs was so strong I couldn't breathe. We planned to stay for 2 weeks but couldn't make it past 1 day. Ruined our whole trip. Staff is nice but manager is horrible!
