Not the first time staying here. We returned because of pleasant past experiences with this hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Each floor has an ice machine! Sometimes it's a big inconvenience to have to go searching for a machine on every floor. This location is convenient to restaurants and the interstate. It's just far enough off of I-85 to not hear the loud highway traffic. We will return when back in the area.

Holiday Inn in Lavonia, Ga. is a nice place to stay, lots of places to eat. It has very clean rooms with very clean beds. Employees friendly and helpful. HOWEVER - The contracted yard workers did a terrible job. While cutting grass, all cars are covered in cut grass. The employees obviously didn’t care that they left grass cuttings in front of the entryway where all guests had to track through on our shoes, spreading it throughout the entire hotel. This company evidently was hired by all these hotels. Someone needs to find another company to keep the outside clean and our cars as well. Pictures attached. We told the Front desk employee, so hopefully the manager was informed.

Dirty bathtub and shower. Couldn’t even bath my kids nor did I shower there myself. The toilet ran and kept me up. Opened the curtain the next morning and there were dead bugs. Clearly cleanliness is not a priority. Can’t speak on breakfast because didn’t bother trying it.

Holiday Inn in Lavonia, Ga. is definitely in the right place. It is on a dead end where there is very little traffic. Hampton Inn also is across from it. Very close to restaurants with Chick-fil-A right next door and J.Peters Grill right across from it. It has very clean rooms with very clean beds. I wiped down the counters and the dressers with no residue on the cloths and the linen is crisp and no sign of bedbugs. The carpet is vacuumed and when you walk in the door to the hotel, you will always be greeted with a smile and kind employees. This is where we stay each time we come to Lavonia. Oh and did I mention that the beds are so comfortable until I actually get a great night sleep. I bring my wedge pillow for back support and neck pillow and I am good to go. Stop in and see for yourself!!!😁

Walked in after a long week / day. Walked in to the lobby to book a room. What a nice receptionist / for the hotel. Beiyah aka (B) she gets a 5 star rating too. So helpful and kind. Her job knowledge was spot on as well. Loved my room. Recommend Holiday Inn Express Lavonia Ga.

Excellent facility and very clean. The Front desk staff was friendly and courteous, and very willing to accommodate our needs. The pool is indoors and heated, recommend taking a plunge if you stay here.

Good IHG hotel with the usual setup only problem is the price gouging due to a game going on the weekend I stayed. It was more than double the usual rate for a night. The IHG 20 min away into SC was even worse.

Holiday Inn express is sneaky in their pricing. Watch out it's a scam. You think you book the room at a certain price and in-between they hike up the room rates and say they pricing changes daily. Terrible pricing ethic. I remembered why I moved to Hilton and Marriott. Same price for every night.

I stopped here for an unplanned stay while traveling. The check in clerk was amazing, working hard to get me the best rate possible. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room & entire facility was very clean, and I enjoyed my stay. Great place to stay!
