The rooms were very clean and put together. It looke well taken care of in the main lobby. I had a good feeling of security when i was staying there and had no trouble falling asleep. John was amazing in making sure our stay was amazing and was very communicative the whole time!

very good family rooms, free wifi, it’s convenient for all food, even if you need to walk, hot tubs, my kids and i were homeless and the staff john, galenda and one other woman always helped me and my boys get to our rooms safely. they always looked out for us and as a single mother that meant more than the world to me. they went above and beyond for me and my two children. down to getting to our rooms safely and making sure there was never any funny business, which isn’t typical here because they make sure of it. very loved hotel.

I'm posted based off someone's recent stay. She said the hotel smells really bad windows are dirty not able to see out. She also the sheets had stains the blanket had holes. Something about the padding on the bed was also stained. They need to purchase new bedding and bedding that fits.

Wanted to stay somewhere safe since I had my family. All rooms are inside building and side doors remained locked at all times. I was very pleased to see the staff checking the halls and parking lots for non-guest. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We will return. Thank you staff for a pleasant visit.

We enjoyed our recent stay at Haven Inn. Hotel was very clean. The staff was so accommodating and kind. John was helpful. There were a lot of restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Monroe.

Wonderful experience. Mr. John went above and beyond helping with a hot water issue I had. Very pleasant, professional & cares tremendously for the customers. Hotel is undergoing renovations now. Quiet & very clean. Would definitely recommend.

We were here from Florida for a family funeral and the location was perfect. The room came with no comforter, the ac fan makes a weird noise and the bed was hard as a rock. We even had to go ask for wash cloths. I have friends in the hotel business and they would be a appalled at the condition and staff of this place. Next time I'm in town, I will stay somewhere else and drive if need to. So not worth the convenience.

I stayed here 2 times unfortunately, it was the closest possible hotel to the courthouse. Our first trip was miserable but doable. I had called in and reserved a room letting them know I was out of state taking a train and what time I would arrive. They said lovely see you then. I arrived at 10am to be told I had to wait until after 2 to be put in a room no exceptions. We waited four hours outside because they have absolutely no furniture inside their ‘lobby’ just unopened furniture boxes. When we were finally allowed into the room for half of the outlets to not work, the toilet broke on the second flush, my boyfriend attempted to shower only to have the sliding shower door fall on top of him, and then to top it off the hair dryer was broken. All of that to say fine I paid $89 dollars for this place and for the convenience of closeness to court? Fine that is on me what should I expect honestly? So the second time I expected all of this, when I called to place the second reservation i stressed the time the train would be there and when I’d check in at 10am sharp. they agreed told me they ‘put a note in!’ for me to call the day of while on the 10 hour train ride there to be told ‘hmmm, nope no note. Clock in is at 2’ to wait once again for a room I had reserved and stressed the time frame of. This time we do have a nicer looking room and most things work other than the fan in the bathroom, the shower doors so frail anytime you try to move them at all to get in or out they fall of their track, and the water handle being like put in backwards? ( you have to have the water almost off to the point of a drizzle to get hot which is labeled ‘cold’, what is labeled ‘hot’ is nothing more than freezing water no matter how long you wait.) Again fine I was supposed to be charged overall 89 for the room plus a refundable $50. Wrong. They Charged me not only 139 for the room the 89+50, put a 50 hold on my account for another deposit, AND then charged me ANOTHER $50 for the deposit which over charged my account and stopped me from ubering to my train to get home. When I called I spoke to AJ who told me I was an ‘idiot’ and that is not what happened and that it’s a banking issue and he only charged me $89 dollars and the $50 had already been refunded.He is a crook and this hotel is a joke. If you don’t HAVE to use this hotel please DO NOT, save yourself the money and hassle. Oh also the hot tub rooms? They’re tubs folks literally a bathtub.

Got one of their jacuzzi rooms for a local Valentine's weekend getaway. The first night we heard a couple kids run up and down the hallway a few times but it wasn't too late in the evening so not a big deal. The rest of the weekend we literally did not hear another peep. The room was pretty nice and the bed was not uncomfortable though it could have been a little higher off the floor. Shower was good and hot with great water pressure. Even had a magnified make up mirror on a flexible mount to help combat the evil effects of fluorescent lighting. Lost access to cable channels on tv late the first night and finally got it back when we returned from dinner the second night. Not a huge inconvenience but a little disappointing. Overall a very pleasant stay in a very reasonably priced room. Very possibly will go again sometime in the future and definitely recommend for a local getaway or out of town guest.
