Great quick get away from the daily grind

Beautiful place to spend a few hours out in nature. We ate our lunch here at one of the covered picnic tables then walked the boardwalk and wondered around in the Forrest for a little while. They have an amazing kids play area, highly recommend it. We didn't even have kids with is and we enjoyed it

Great trails. The trail between the nature center is great for all levels. Alot of it is raised wooden walkway good for beginners or active elderly. Also its long enough for advanced hikers. Great shorter trails on the other side of the center also. They have cabins to rent. A convention type center for learning about wildlife and the local ecosystem. Please visit both. Nature center is free. Park is 2 dollars per person. Park has a beach, kayak/canoe rental, trails, open dog park and private dog park for dog agressive doggies.
