To say Great Escape is amazing is an understatement - absolutely what we expected and more based on the photos, if you are considering this area book it! This host has literally thought of everything a guest might need to feel at home and more. The cabin is super clean, comfortable beds and very well appointed. The entire family enjoyed the property - hot tub with a view, gathering around the fire pit for smores, watched movies on the theater style setting, golf putting in the game room. I do not enjoy nature sleeping in a tent but a cabin with amenities is the way to have it all. Our experience was positive and absolutely recommend Great Escape you will not be disappointed; we look forward to returning in the fall.

Amazing experience!!!! Elsa is a great Host! Loved the home, everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. The area was so picturesque with lovely deer coming to visit daily. Will definitely be coming back.

10000% recommend staying here! The cabin included so many great details. The game room alone had us entertained for days. Clean, tranquil, spacious and private. I never wanted to leave. I loved that it was even decorated for Christmas. Will be staying here again!

This place was absolutely amazing! I've always wanted to stay in a cabin with nature and this exceeded my expectations. The cabin was both clean and well maintained and we experienced absolutely no issues during our stay. We got to see lots of deer, make some s'mores over the campfire, and overall have both an amazing & tranquil experience. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The family and I really enjoyed this cabin. It was very cozy and very clean. The view was incredible and there was a lot of activities in the cabin to do. It was a lot bigger inside and it even had complimentary items which was very nice. We would definitely come back again.

You can’t get better than this! Absolutely amazing and beautiful cabin. Hidden just enough that you have your own privacy, are very close to downtown and highways to get you around to other areas! The cabin alone has enough to entertain you for days! Spent 4 days here and we didn’t want to leave. I will definitely come back every year if not multiple times a year! 🥹

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Everything we needed for a week long stay. Our host was super helpful and provided us with not only clear instructions for our stay but also directions to all the establishments (Restaurants/Grocery) in the area as well as fun activities to do in the area. We had an amazing time. and cannot wait to return.

We spent a long weekend at the lodge. First of all, it’s beautiful, brand new, and very clean. The lower level is a game room that includes pool/ping pong, a poker table, and a comfy sofa with a big screen TV. The upper level has 2 master bedrooms, kitchen, and a jacuzzi outside. This is a great place for spending time with the family, grilling, and making memories. The kids loved seeing all the deer throughout the community. If you like to stay in, there are stores close by where you can stock up on food and supplies. If you like to get out more, you can grab something to eat in downtown Ellijay, look for some local barbecue, or visit Southern Tennessee. All in all, a great trip, and I would 100% go back.
