This church has such an evident heart for the Lord and is so good for my soul! I visited a good amount of churches in college but landed here for the last 1-2 years and couldn’t have loved it more. I make a point to go any time I am remotely in the area, I love it that much!

The pastor (Pastor Henry) is a genuinely decent man and a man of the people, not just a man in his ivory tower. Ge sincerely cares for everyone. He leads the Athens Salvation Army and even drove me to the ER once after I’d been hit by a car while riding my bike. His wife is also a wonderful woman and they are a mutually supportive power couple/team. Nothing but my sincere best to all of them and to the Salvation Army!

Morgan (the pastor) is the best. This is a place that really welcomes the misfits and the wounded. It has its growing pains just like any other church, but the people here really care about each other- and that's a wonderful thing to see in a church. I'll miss it dearly.
