We absolutely loved working with Georgian Hall for our wedding and reception on March 1st, 2025. All of the coordinators we worked with from Callie to Lauren were extremely organized, willing to work with us on ideas, timelines and made helpful suggestions through the entire process. We loved having the bridal room (newly renovated and first to use!) as a convenient way to get bridesmaids and bridal party ready for day of. We also highly recommend using their catering for the reception as well. We enjoyed all of the food at our tasting and felt like we couldn’t go wrong, no matter what we chose to have for the meal. Our guests have continually complimented the food and experience at Georgian Hall. Such a great venue for a classic city wedding & party in Athens, Georgia.

Georgian Hall is the most stunningly beautiful venue in all of Athens. Its turn of the century architecture, and thoughtful restoration will ensure your guests will be in awe during your event. My husband and I had our wedding reception at Georgian and could not have picked a better venue. Matched to its beauty, Georgian's staff and food are unmatched. Lindsay and Meagan and their entire team were so unbelievably professional and accommodating. They went the extra mile to ensure our day was perfect. Georgian's food, might also be the best in Athens. The food was so delicious and flavorful—we got so many complements. In fact, I have never had a meal from a wedding venue I enjoyed this much, and it surpassed all of our expectations. If you are looking for a clean, professional, and gorgeous, semi-all inclusive venue in the Classic City, look no further. We cannot recommend Georgian Hall enough!

I honestly can't say enough good things about our experience with Georgian Hall. From start to finish, everything was absolutely incredible, and it truly made our wedding day feel magical. First of all, the food was unbelievable. We had so many guests come up to us saying it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding—and we completely agree. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and honestly just delicious. The in-house catering team absolutely knocked it out of the park! But what really made the planning process stress-free and actually enjoyable was working with sales and planning team. I had the privilege of working with Maddie McCullough as my in-house coordinator. She was hands-down the best coordinator I’ve ever worked with (and I’ve planned a few big events before). Maddie was organized, responsive, calm under pressure, and always one step ahead of everything. She thought of things I never would’ve considered and made the whole day flow so smoothly. I genuinely don’t know what we would’ve done without her. Calley and Lindsey were also a great help to us throughout the process, and it was so nice to know we had a team of elite professionals helping us through the most special time of our lives. You can tell that everyone who works here is passionate about what they do, and it shows! We were also blown away by the vendor options Georgian Hall provided. Every recommendation felt like a perfect fit, and it was so nice not having to chase down a million different people or guess who might be good. From florals to music to rentals, we felt like we were in such good hands across the board. And of course, the venue itself is stunning. The historic charm, the natural light, the details in the architecture—it all created such a unique and beautiful atmosphere that didn’t even need much decorating. It’s elegant and just has such a special feel to it. If you're even considering booking your event here—do it. It was truly the best decision we made, and we’ll be talking about it for years to come.

I had my wedding reception at Georgian Hall in March 2022 and it was absolutely perfect, exceeding all expectations. My guests loved the building history and beauty, the ambiance, the convenience to everything in downtown Athens including hotels and especially the food and service!! The building itself is gorgeous! My husband loved having an actual bar space and I loved having the option for my guests to flow in and out of the lobby as they wished. The upstairs club room (and terrace!) was perfect for getting ready before the wedding and used as a spot for our band and photographers to take a break during. The space is more on the formal side but it is still a super fun party atmosphere. The food was DELICIOUS and all service was superb! There were a ton of food and drink options to choose from and we loved having local beer on tap! Everyone made a point to tell me how good the food was and what a wonderful job the staff and service did. My family even commented that clean up and break down was swift and extremely organized. Maddie and Lindsey were a total dream team to work with and made planning easy and stress-free. They are open to new ideas and very flexible so that your vision can come to life. They were with me every step of the way, answering all my annoying questions and walking me through the process. I only had a day-of coordinator and for me that was enough since they were so helpful and accommodating. The Something Blue car is also really sweet and a great way to exit and end the night. I can’t thank everyone enough who had a role in helping and I highly, highly recommend Georgian Hall for any event. It was a truly perfect day and my only regret is that I won’t get to do it all again!

BEYOND pleased with everything from start to finish! Stephanie and Lindsey were so lovely to work with and (with the help of Lisa) the three of them made our wedding day perfect! Their attention to detail and thoroughness was exactly what I needed in the planning process. They were always very responsive and accommodating with my every question and request. Very professional and made so much of the wedding planning process much easier by not overwhelming me with too much at once. The ballroom itself is gorgeous - I fell in love the moment I walked in and we even chose to do our first look there before the ceremony and the photos turned out amazing! Our guests are still raving about how great the food was months later and the service during the reception was wonderful. Our ceremony took place at the UGA Chapel and it was a very easy walk between venues and an even easier walk to the bars for the after party! Highly recommend this beautiful venue!
