I do not recommend sending your child to this University at all! I’m a grown adult going here , my child also attends the university and it’s the worst. Every year it gets worst, nobody wants to help with issues you may be having, very rude , the people in the advisory office are the worst as well. Every year it gets worst and I mean that with everything, if I could pick a different school to go to I would definitely have picked a different school to go to! This school is the absolute worst and the professors also they are the worst as well. Don’t go to this school if you don’t have to, pick a different school to go to, I’m so serious!!! This school is the worst and nobody helps with nothing when you have questions or concerns.

I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. There’s a reason this school is so easy to be accepted to. They only care about getting their money. Professors are of the lowest quality possible. Most classes aren’t even taught by professors. A lot of the fundamental classes are taught by graduate students and a lot of them are foreigners who have thick accents. They might be good at explaining things in their own language but they have hard time in English. Even when you are in upper level classes, you will have foreign professors who have even thicker accents. I have had classes where the professor doesn’t even record her own lecture. It was some other guy’s content and she just recorded the review session herself. This school is made to make a whole lot of money and that’s all. Aside from the low tier education, the safety isn’t even their priority. They are loaded with money yet there aren’t many police officers around the campus. When you’re a student, you always see notifications of someone getting robbed at gun point or without. There has been fatalities near campus and housing yet you don’t see any 24/7 security. This has nothing to do with whether they can afford it because they can without a doubt. Coming to the staffs. Imagine going to USPS vs UPS. They act pretty much like a federal employee who knows they don’t have to be nice and competent. Advisors and Financial aid are from the lowest pool of talent. I only had to deal with them once and I got first hand experience why everyone dislikes them and it’s a running joke at campus how incompetent advisors and Financial aid staff are. After going to financial aid 3 times, I basically had to figure out how the issue can be fixed by asking a classmate who went through the same issue prior to me. Only then they were able to help me. Stay away people, there are better options out there. Do your research and save yourself 4 years of headaches.

Undergraduate admissions does not return emails, phone calls, or inquiries. They sent a request that was incomplete, it stated that items were missing from application and under missing items it was blank. The application status page states that there are no documents needed to be submitted. The email stated to email the admissions office and it is impossible to get someone to reply back whether you use the main admission email or email a person directly. No one answers their phone and they do not return phone calls. Application process is longer than 4-8 weeks.

I was only there for a campus visit. However, I can say that the facilities are very much in close proximity to each other in walking distance. With the exception of the stadium, which you have to take by shuttle, it's very easy to get around. There are maps near by in the event to get lost.

From the teachers to the staff, no one is responsible and that gives such a bad vibe to the students. A lot of students transfer to other universities after the first semester

If you're looking for 4 years of frustration and apathy from the staff, then choose GSU! This has been a miserable 4 years of constant ineptitude from every department. Housing, professors (who never respond to their students), advisors who have no idea what they're doing (or don't care). Once of the biggest problems is apathy from nearly everyone that you interact with. If you try to take it up the chain, you are ignored. Please, save yourself a lot of frustration and choose a different school.

Not the best but also not the worst. Certain students and staff were a pain, but for the most part the experience was neutral. It really depends on the individual person but I wouldn't necessarily recommend or not recommend it to anyone

Don't send your kids here!! We sent our son here and when he was diagnosed with a mental illness, by a GSU psychiatrist no less, they charged us for his unused food plan when we had to withdraw him. They rip you off left and right. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!

Research: Forcing frequent password changes can be incredibly frustrating. it often leads to users forgetting their passwords, resulting in constant lockouts and the need to reset them, which can be time-consuming and disruptive, especially if you have many accounts to manage; experts generally advise against mandatory password expiry as it can actually decrease security by encouraging users to create weaker, easier-to-remember passwords that are more susceptible to hacking. remove the 120 day mandatory password resets. Google keeps resetting my passwords amazon keeps resetting my passwords it's starting to become a trend problem is, as someone who studied in cyber security, you ONLY add forced password changes to appear more secure to the user base without actually being more secure. but more importantly you're causing me issues in my personal life for your good appearance.

Thank you for accepting my son in that school! The LGBTQUIA+ has come a long way from protests to verbal battles around the heterosexual people in July 2025!
