I have never left a negative review in my life so it takes a lot for me to say this. The cabins locations was wonderful but for what I paid for three nights that was the only positive. We had trouble with the combination lock on our 2nd day and called and someone was quickly sent out to reprogram. This was very pleasing but the cabin itself was not taken care of. The furniture had stains and the floor was so dirty you could not walk barefoot without your feet being black. We killed a few roaches and then found roach soray on top of the refrigerator so the problem was known. We found a couple of ticks on the couch. There was a note left on the refrigerator with notes how to clean up where it was expressed that we not put out unused towels and linens in the tub with our dirty used ones. This made me feel that the linens were not all laundered in between each guest which is gross. We actually chose to leave a day early because we were so unhappy with the lack of cleanliness. Of course normally I would chalk this up to a cleaning person or company being more responsible for the state of the cabin but I sent a very detailed email the morning after we left to explain why we left early and the condition in which the cabin is. I received an email stating someone would get in touch with me and after more than a week of waiting I have heard nothing. Helen is one of my favorite places to visit and unfortunately this trip is one i will remember in a negative light and I would not recommend this cabin until these issues are resolved.

Always an excellent stay with GMR! Super friendly and responsive staff, fixed an issue with our door lock during early check in. They were there within 5 minutes to reset the lock manually and had it fixed before we had our stuff set down. Clean cabin, nice location and covered parking under it which was a great perk. Right on the river with a large deck and grill, well equipped kitchen and large living room.

We stayed at the River Retreat in Helen. The cabin is super cozy and is right on the river. It's well decorated with custom quilts, mounted critters and fish, local art and pictures. The kitchen is more than adequate for your cooking needs. It's a quick walk/drive into town and there's plenty of things to explore.

Really enjoyed our stay at Mountain Peach Charm. It was exactly how it was listed. Beautiful cabin. Loved the screened in porch. GPS took us straight there without any issues. Great location. Only 20 minutes from most of the places we wanted to go. Only thing I would suggest is directions posted somewhere on how to turn the hot tub on and off. Drive way is a little tricky to get up in a van but we found out that if you stay to the left of the drive way it is easier to get up the steep gravel drive.

Stayed over ten years back.. and had a wonderful experience this time around was the worst experience.. nit sure what's happening with management but I believe they have there priorities out of whack it's sad to see people like that stay with Tanglewood or Beer creek there very friendly people ..

The cabin we stayed in was clean, beautiful and absolutely wonderful. I was traveling with my family for Christmas and the Georgia Mountain Rentals team went above and beyond to help make our stay so incredibly memorable for Christmas. I would highly recommend working with this company if you are looking for a place to stay in Georgia. You will not be disappointed!

We had a great time at Peace in the Woods. The cabin was clean, well appointed, and certainly lived up to its name. The rental company was responsive and helpful, and their rates are reasonable. They called to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend using Georgia Mountain Rentals for your vacation!

My husband and I stayed in 'Alone at Last' for a much needed getaway from the daily grind of everyday life. This was our first trip alone together in 7 years, so we were looking for privacy. That is just what we got! There were some other cabins nearby, but nothing encroaching. The hot tub was great for melting away our stress and relaxing. The cabin was cozy and secluded. It was clean upon arrival. The bed was very comfortable as well. The cabin was just 3 miles outside of Helen.We really enjoyed our stay and will happily stay with Georgia Mountain Rentals again if we visit north Georgia in the future. Their customer service was friendly and professional. They made a courtesy call about an hour before check-in and left detailed instructions for check-out via the app and email.

Our Antler at Buckhorn cabin was generally very nice. The location up in the mountain is exactly what we asked for. We have a 4x4 Ram truck and this is what should be recommended for the location as the roads are very rough, steep and Gravel covered! After the 1st day of our 8 day stay, we discovered numerous broken, damaged etc situations which we immediately reported to the agency as we did not want to be responsible for them. We called for a garbage pickup the second night which did not happen. We ended up dumping our own garbage for the entire 8 days down town Helen in public receptacles. The linens were plentiful! Hot tub jets only 2 worked. Kitchen is only stocked with what appeared to be used left behind utensils.
