We had a blast here! Great place for a birthday party. Clean restrooms, super friendly staff and very affordable. Get the kids off the screens and get them moving and skating!!!

My kids really enjoy skating here, and I appreciate that Fun Galaxy offers unlimited pizza and sodas after 6 PM on certain days as part of the admission price, it’s a great deal for families. However, my experience on Saturday, September 27th left me a bit unsettled. There were four employees working that night… an older gentleman in the DJ booth, a woman at the front, a young man at the concession stand, and a young woman behind the skate counter. When I asked if they had speed skates in my size, the girl at the skate counter told me they didn’t because “kids keep putting the skates in the toilets,” which was concerning to hear. Another issue, was the music being played. When the song “Locked Up” by Akon came on, I felt it was inappropriate for a crowd that was mostly kids between the ages of 8 and 14. Many of the songs were a bit inappropriate , in my opinion. I spoke to the DJ about it, and his response shocked me.. he said, “What does it matter, half these kids are going to end up in prison anyway.” He then sarcastically asked if I would prefer “Christian music.” I explained that there are plenty of fun, upbeat songs that would still be appropriate for kids to skate to, but his attitude was dismissive. It was sad to hear that was his perspective. The facility itself seemed understaffed for the number of children there (around 35–40), and with so few adults present, the environment felt a bit chaotic. It seems like many parents drop their kids off for the evening, leaving the staff to manage everything. It’s unfortunate, because Fun Galaxy has so much potential to be a positive, family-friendly place for kids and parents alike.

My son just celebrated his "Rollin into 8" Birthday at Fun Galaxy. I love that they have the option of doing private parties on Sunday's with unlimited skating! The staff was fantastic-so sweet and super accommodating. I didn't have to worry about anything, they literally took the work out of it for me. I was able to actually enjoy the party and our guests without having to fully wear the "hostess hat" who is constantly running around ragged! What hostess doesn't love that?! All of our guests raved about how great it was too, which is even better! Thanks again Fun Galaxy & staff for helping my son have a great Birthday! We'll be back soon!

My daughter wanted to celebrate her 8th birthday at a skating rink surrounded by family and friends. I began searching for venues two months in advance, only to find every rink in the area completely booked for every Saturday all summer long. Thankfully, Fun Galaxy in Athens, GA came through! They graciously allowed us to book an early time on a Sunday and offered us a private party with unlimited guests. Something we couldn’t find anywhere else. The entire process was seamless. Communication was clear and prompt from start to finish. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and ready for fun! The staff were friendly, professional, and incredibly patient, helping everything run smoothly and making sure all the kids had a great time. Special thanks to Kenny Cook for helping make my daughter’s birthday unforgettable. I highly recommend Fun Galaxy for anyone planning a birthday party or special event. We’ll definitely be back!

We had our daughter’s 8th birthday on Saturday and we had a great time! The hostess, Caitlyn, was great to work with. She made sure we had everything we needed and that we were taken care of. We will definitely be back!

The fun galaxy was a nostalgic time for me. I loved the 90s feel. The establishment is cash only so that was a surprise to me. Especially since I called before coming and inquired about pricing payment etc. The customer service was not good overall. The bathrooms weren’t clean, and I wasn’t a fan of how the bathroom doesn’t have a sink in it. You had to wash your hands out on the floor. My little cousin got to skate, and she had fun it was $14 for her to skate, and $5 for her to use a walker. I was surprised by having to pay an additional fee for that as well, because once again I called prior to coming to get full detail about pricing.

Kenny and his group, especially our hostess Ashley, were amazing! Very friendly to adults and kids. So accommodating when we had several “extra” kids attend our party. They were very attentive and hands on helpful. Our granddaughter felt like the princess of the day! Many thanks!

My husband and I took our church youth group on a Saturday night. $17 to skate- plus unlimited fountain drinks and pizza. Great deal, and the kids had a great time. Super friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

So I debated on even sharing my review about this establishment….we are new in town and my children have been begging to go skating. So upon looking I found this location. Okay….$17 per person including pizza and drinks, fair enough. But what really irritated me to the core is my son’s slice of pizza had mold up under the cheese when he bit into it. Upon bringing it to what seemed to be the asst manager he proceeded to call the owner over the intercom to come handle the situation. But the owners response is “why am I being paged to concession”. As an owner if you are in the building you should of been handling this situation, not once did you come over and apologize AT ALL!! That there is bad business, now what if my son would had some type of allergy to mold? Granted the assistant did think of ever excuse as to what it was, I know mold when I see mold and he did give us out money back but you all continues to serve the pizza that my sons slice came from. Like why? I was highly disappointed with the customer service we received. But first impressions are lasting impressions right….thank you to the asst manager…you did what you could.

The new management is AMAZING. Our daughter's party was absolutely perfect. We had the most attentive party host and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure she had the best experience and felt celebrated. I highly recommend having a party here under this new management.
