My daughter has been taking guitar lessons from Full Moon School of Music since June 2020. We LOVE it there! Scott is her instructor and is awesome! He has so much patience and encouragement for her! Any of the other instructors that we have come in contact with were always super nice and welcoming. My daughter has learned so much and enjoys her time there. I am encouraged with how reassuring Scott is with her progression and how he really knows how to focus lessons around her individual needs. Highly recommend Full Moon School of Music!

All three of my children take lessons at Full Moon (keyboard, guitar, and drums), and our experience has been phenomenal! Scott and Joe make music fun, and they really consider the interests of the kids when selecting pieces to play. This week, they orchestrated a jam session with another student - which was apparently awesome! We highly recommend Full Moon - especially if your kids want to branch out into instruments besides piano or just need a change from the way music lessons are traditionally taught. You won’t regret it!

This is our 5th studio over the years as we have moved and hands down this is the best. Not only has Mr. Joe become a well respected drum mentor to my son, but also a role model and friend. My son absolutely loves FM and so do we! Awesome instructors and the Rock Band Camps in the summer are so much fun (even as my son gets older he still looks forward to them!). Awesome place. You really can’t go wrong with Full Moon for any age!

My daughter was bugging me for a year to get ukulele lessons. I was lucky a friend recommended Full Moon School of Music. They were also able to coordinate so that my son could take drum lessons while my daughter does ukulele. I love their teachers who foster a musical passion within my kids. I have been able to observe vast progress in their musical abilities over the last 8 months. Due to Covid the school did a recorded recital. My son got his recital recorded in Full Moon Studio which was a great experience for him, and I got to share the video with everybody.

Full Moon School is fantastic. My son has taken drums, guitar, and production lessons for years here. The instructors are top notch in terms of knowledge and teaching ability. They allow students frequent input about their music education.

My son has been taking lessons at Full Moon for a little over a year. He has had 3 different teachers during that time. All of them have been very good and encouraging. The teachers are knowledgeable and I think he is getting a good music education, but the whole thing is geared toward his goals, so he learning what he wants to learn and making steady progress. The communication, mostly via email, has been very good as well.

We are so happy to have our children taught at Full Moon School of music. The instructors are so good with our kids. They are patient and willing to let the kids pick music that they are interested in to learn while also teaching them all the mechanics of playing an instrument. It’s an awesome bonus that they are performers in our local Athens music scene. The kids get to show off their talents in Rockcitals which allow them the chance to perform in a live show setting just like real musicians.

My son and I have been taking lessons with Full Moon for 3 years. The instructors are very talented musicians and provide quality lessons every week. They offer a Rockcital twice a year and Band camp during the summer that is always a hit!

The school has been instrumental (ha!) in getting our kids from interested but untrained to FANTASTIC and mind-blowing! Joe and Scott are fantastic teachers and really care about the kids. They understand how to teach young people and get them engaged and enjoying things. The Rockcital was a little scary at first but became a source of pride to be looked forward to- a great way to let the students show off their accomplishments! An all-around fantastic place to get music lessons.

Joe and Scotty are very accommodating and easy to work with. My daughter takes piano lessons with Scotty and he is very patient with her and has taught her a lot. I take drum lessons with Joe and he has helped me really improve my skills. Great gentlemen to work with!
