Mr. Honcho, his Son and entire staff was so welcoming. Each of them made my day superb. From the day I walked in to secure my 40th Birthday dinner right up to the party. I had the best experience. The service was incredibly attentive—they brought out the steak fresh to the table as soon as it was done, and every single bite was juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The food is absolutely divine—everything tastes so fresh and flavorful, from the meats to the sides and salads. We also love how affordable it is, especially considering it’s all you can eat! You truly get an amazing variety and quality without breaking the bank. Flama has quickly become one of our favorite spots in Athens. If you’re a meat lover, this place is a dream. Highly recommend!

Flama is our go-to for celebrations! Dad is from Brasil and gets to enjoy home flavors and share them with the kids. My new favorite is the grilled cinnamon pineapple with bacon wrapped chicken and fried plantains!

Great service! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and as we were being seated the host explained the menu and how to navigate the buffet. The food was all freshly prepared and great tasting. One side of the bar was hot foods and the other was cold items. There was a good selection of items on the food bar including fried plantains,creamed spinach,ribs,rice,coleslaw,salads and more. The meat station has delicious bacon wrapped chicken breast, sirloin, beef tenderloin, lamb, pork and more, all salt seasoned and slow roasted to perfection. Kept warm on the grill until the server slices as much as you want right in front of you, love it! Best yet you can eat all you want. It is a smaller space restaurant with limited parking directly in front but you can park just steps away next door. The owner stops by each table greeting customers and asks how we liked the food. It was delicious and plentiful! Nice to have a good Brazilian Steakhouse in Athens for a change and not super expensive! Try it and see if you like it.

I'm spoiled with Atlanta upscale atmosphere. I came to this location because I didn't want to drive to Atlanta. The reviews for this location were good so I thought it was worth a try. And it was. The service was acceptable for the location and public demand. Very casual and low key. The set up was different and it worked. The guy handling the meat rotisserie was not friendly. Didn't wanna keep going up to communicate with him. So that sucked. But the meat was good. I only got two different flavors. Bacon wrapped chicken with was wonderful. And the usual picante beef. Couldn't eat that one. Too bloody for me. I went up for ribs but he said 3 minutes. I didn't go back. Like I said he wasnt friendly. The cold bar or salad bar or what they called it. Was boring. I'm Korean so their rice wasn't that great but Brazilians like their rice dry. Black beans tasted like can. The cheese balls were not traditional Brazilian cheese balls. Which is my main "must have". Small and hard. Not fluffy with parmesan. For the price. It's absolutely worth it. Would I go back? No. I'll drive to Atlanta.

After running a quick errand we stopped by Flama hoping to get a table. It was 7pm on a Friday night, not a car in the lot. Which worried us, however we tried it anyway. We are so glad we did, the food was so good, you can eat as much as you want. It’s a buffet, but doesn’t feel like one of those large chain buffets. The staff was very nice and attentive. We just discovered this place, hopefully it sticks around.

Saturday, my family and I drive an hour to get to this place. We thought it would be packed and it wasn't. Which is great! As soon as we got in. We were seated. Our server was really nice. And the food.....the meats....were incredible! I didn't have to use salt at any time! Which is rare!! The bacon wrapped chicken....mmmmmm! Ooooh! So, I'm not a fan of lamb. It's always been to gamey for me. My husband had some lamb and I decided to try his. Dude! That lamb is on point! It wasn't gamey at all!! I told my friend that the next we are in the Athens area I gotta take him here for lunch. Thanks guys for a memorable experience!
